The evening was wonderful, we danced and danced. She was the most beautiful women I had ever seen; I still did not understand why she would want to meet me or how she was a queen. Hmm, what was so special about me? I awoke in a strange room; I must have fallen asleep here at the castle. " Sorry sir, Queen Haven sent me to wake you? " the strange maiden smiled. " I- I'm sorry " I spoke confused still not understanding why I was here. " My name is Olivia " she gleamed. " Haven has ordered me to get you ready to have a private breakfast. " she continued. " I guess I cannot refuse she is the queen after all " he chuckled putting his hand through his hair. He got out of the bed and put on the clothes that Olivia had brought for him. As he put on the top, he eyed the silver trim, He smiled remembering last night and how both matched not realizing it. He wondered if today she would match him as well.
Once finished he followed Olivia down the halls, once again images ran vividly through is mind. " Why is this place so familiar " he thought as another imagine of him and his father had walked these very same halls. Only this vision was different his father had stopped and was speaking to someone " King Antionette " he bowed. " Yes, Stephan " the strange man whispered. I could not tell what they were saying but the pictures were as clear as day especially when a little girl ran down the hall with the same bright red hair as Queen Haven's. " Hey, you want to play " she spoke in a voice so soft and eyes bright. " Daddy " young Samuel tugged. " Can I go play " his voice small. He watched as his father turned around and smiled as he gave him permission. His younger self and the red head girl ran down the hallway with one another and that is where it stopped. Olivia was calling his name bringing him back to reality. " I'm sorry I don't know what came over me " he whispered. " No need to apologize”, she smiled " We are here " she escorted him through the door.
" Good morning your grace " Olivia bowed. " Thank you, Olivia, you may be excused for the rest of your day " He watched as she smiled. God it was so beautiful, and her voice always so soft spoken made his heart race. " Good morning madam " he bowed. This earned an even bigger smile as her cheeks flushed a light shade of pink. " Samuel, I told you there is no need to bow and be so formal " her eyes focusing on his posture. She watched as he sat down awkwardly causing her to giggle. His face turned red. " I'm sorry I just, I don't know why I'm so nervous " he chuckled. " Perhaps you desire me as I desire you " she spoke straight forward her eyes never leaving his. He breathed nervously " your quite truthful aren't you " " I believe in nothing but honesty " she smiled taking a bite of a strawberry. He for some reason found himself wishing he were that strawberry, his pupils darkening. She started to laugh " why don't we go for a walk " she blushed. " That sounds nice " He stood up and followed her out of the room. He found himself in the same hall again, but he brushed off the familiar feeling and focused on her in front of me.
We reached a corridor which led us outside to a big garden. It was filled with sunflowers and daisies. " So many " he rose a brow. " Sunflowers and Daises are my favorite " she grinned. " It's beautiful " he whispered observing her body up and down. Suddenly she was behind him " maybe you want to try to catch me " she whispered his eyes widening as she challenged him. " How " was all he could manage to say " Catch me and you'll see " she smiled disappearing into the lavender Daisies " Well it's not fair if your so much faster than me " he spoke feeling slighted then continued into the daisies. Something about this game felt familiar, like he had already played it once before. He stopped in his tracks seeing another vision of the same little red head running through the purple daisies. " Catch me Samuel " she chirped giggling. " But you are much faster than I am it's not fair " he yelled. He was brought back to reality when he heard he is laughing again. " I will find you; you know. " as he continued through the maze of flowers coming to a clearing where he saw her sitting by a statue. " Well that was too easy " he chuckled. She looked up and smiled at him. " May I ask you something " his face becoming curious. " When I was young, I lost both of my parents to a fire. I can’t remember much but being here feels like I never left if that makes sense " " I keep seeing a little girl with red hair, I'm playing with her in this same garden, in these same halls " his voice low. She tilted her head as if she were thinking about something. She seemed about as lost as he was. " It's difficult to tell I don't remember much from my childhood just that my parents were at war and they were doing anything to protect my sibling's and I " she spoke with such sincerity. " In all honesty my parent's, they did something to my memory to protect me " This caused him to raise a brow. " I would ask but I feel like the answer is going to involve one of your theories " he smiled. She looked up at him her face sour and sighed. " Samuel, I am not normal. " she spoke in a hushed tone. " Well, what is normal " he smiled. " No, I mean I am not human " she continued. " If you’re not human then I'm a ghost " he spoke still not taking it seriously. She moved quickly again now pinning him. " H- how " he spoke almost winded. " I told you I'm not human " her eyes now twinkling a beautiful silver. Samuel felt nervous but not as afraid as he should have been. " Then what are you? " he asked reaching to touch her face with his hand. " I am a vampire “.
