Chaos Series 1: Angel

"You two enjoy your day, just text me kapag uuwi na tayo. And remember, Angel, hanggang 7pm lang ang paalam natin kila mom and dad." Ellie remind and I nod my head like a polite kid.

"Yes yes, I know that Ellie. Magkasama tayo nagpaalam diba? So of course remember those." I said and Ellie nod before tapping my shoulder.

"Go find him, don't think about me.  I'll just... be here somewhere. Enjoy!" She said and I nod, bidding her a goodbye and running towards the beach where also the food stalls are.

As I arrived at the stalls, I immediately look around, finding where is Ezekiel. When I couldn't find him, a pout formed on my lips and I pull out my phone to message him where he is.

As I'm typing, suddenly, someone covered my eyes with their hands that immediately made ne squeal, but the person immediately removed their hands and turn me around to face them.

"Angel its me, sssh~ it's me, it's me." Ezekiel said as he wrap his arms around me, my lips parted a bit as everything escalated so quickly.

"Oh my God, don't do that again, nakakahiya!" I said and he chuckled before pulling away from the hug and nod.

"I won't, I won't, I'm sorry. Ang cute mo kasi kanina. Nakita na kita pero you're still looking around to find me. That's why I sneak behind you." He said and I nod.

"Okay okay, so... shall we... start eating?" I asked and he pursed his lips before nodding.

"We should." He said and a wide smile appeared on my face. He held my hand  as we walk towards the first stall.

We ordered carbonara to the first stall. Then tteokbokki and corn dogs. And that's our first batch of foods first.

"Paano ka nakapag paalam kila tita at tito?" He asked while munching on his tteok-bokki.

"Ahm... ang sabi ko... namin ni Ellie ay mag ce-celebrate lang kami, and maybe na realize nila mom and dad na hindi an kami bata, so pinayagan kami. Actually it was really surprising na pinayagan kami." I said and he slowly nod.

"Hindi naman na talaga kayo bata, matagal na, they're just...  overreacting honestly." He said and I slowly nod while chewing on my tteok-bokki.

"Madalas rin 'yan sabihin ni Ellie. And a part if me is telling na totoo 'yun." I said and I hear him sigh.

"I'm not gonna argue with you, pero tama si Ellie. They're being too overreacting and too protective. You're on your 20's and you're graduating from university. Then you'll start your internship in your company, then soon you'll have your own job and life. They're just being too... manipulative towards you." He said and I slowly lift my head up while chewing.

He's right, alam ko naman lahat ng nangyayari. Aware ako sa kung paano pinamamahalaan ng magulang ko ang buhay ko at  ni Ellie. Kahit hindi sila gaano ka-strict kay Ellie ay alam kong sa ibang aspekto ay diniktahan na rin nila ang buhay niya, gaya nalang sa course na kinuha niya at sa trabaho na tatahakin ni Ellie.

I just know a part of her wants something else. I can tell it in her eyes that there's an unexpressed talents and skills that she hide. Hindi lang niya magawa at mailabas lahat ng ito dahil alam niya kung ano ang magiging reaksyon nila mom and dad. Alam niya na hindi nila ito magugustuhan.

At sa akin naman, maybe a part of me wants to travel, a lot of travel, just like Ellie. Pero hindi ko masabi-sabi. Hindi ko magawa-gawang pumunta sa nga lugar na gusto ko, dahil hindi naman ako papayagan. Mom and dad will just scold me and tell me that I should just focus on my studies. At sa totoo lang, masama sa pakiramdam. Hindi nakakatuwa lahat ng nangyayari. But I always tell myself that things happens for a reason.

"They are, I'm aware of that Ezekiel. Pero let's not talk about them shall we? This is our date, lets just have fun." I said and his eyes widen a bit and so is his lips.

"Yes yes, of course, I'm sorry for bringing that up." He said and I just nod.

I finished my carbonara and he's done with his tteokbokki. I would catch him taking pictures of me that will make the both of us laugh as I try to steal the phone from him. So I would do the same and take pictures of him. But I make sure they're nice.

"I wish I can flex you." I suddenly said while staring at his picture.

"What do you mean... flex?" He asked while his cheeks filled with food. I chuckled and showed him the picture.

"This picture looks so nice, I wish I can post it and flex you. But sadly I can't, people will... just know." I said before putting down my phone on the table.

"Maybe soon... soon once we are legal to our parents. I can finally flex and post you on my every social media." I said before taking a bite of my corn dog.

He slowly nod, "And I'll do the same, once we are legal." He said,

After we finished the first  batch of foods, we went for another round of siomai, dumplings, and rice bowls. He ordered a bowl of  bacon, egg, and rice while I ordered sisig, egg and rice.

"Can I have a taste of yours? Kahit konti lang." I said as I look at his food. I'm not regretting that I bought sisig, but his looks so good too. He chuckled and nod before scooping rice, bacon and egg with the sauce too. He blow at it first because it's still hot before carefully pushing it towards my face. I removed some strands of hair from my face as I take the spoonful of foods.

"You like it?" He asked and I nod while chewing.

"You like to switch?" He asked and I shake my head.

"No no, it's fine, order mo 'yan eh. I just want to taste. And I still want my sisig 'no." I said and he giggled before nodding.

We continue eating and having a conversation. He ask if I want to take a swim. But I said I didn't brought any swimming wear or any extra clothes.

"Sayang naman." He mumbled and my brows furrowed.

"Why?" I asked, he suddenly let go of his utensils and started unbuttoning his polo, there I saw the rash guard under.

I burst out laughing as he look at me like a sad kid. "Oh my God, you should have  told me you want to swim. Akala ko kakain lang tayo." I said and he pouted.

"Akala ko naman alam mo na, because its beach, Tondaligan beach." He sarcastically his that made me burst out laughing again.

"Okay okay, I have an idea. There's mall here in Pangasinan right?" I asked and he slowly nods.

"Lets go there after this and let's buy swimming wear for me and extra clothes." I said and he slowly nod.

"Bawal two piece ha?" He said and my eyes widened,

"Of course! Gosh! Hindi ko kaya mugsuot nun!" I said and he smiled.

"I was just joking, pero if you want, you can, I'm not stopping you. I know you'll look good in everything, kahit mag jeans at blouse kapa sa dagat." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Grabe ka." I said and continue eating. When we finished the foods we went to his car to go to Robinson's Place Pangasinan. I didn't text or message Ellie anymore. Baka may ginagawa siya and I don't want to disturb her.

I just bought a black and pink rash guard and a swimming short too that almost reaches my knees. I bought extra clothes which is just a dress for me to change after swim and some extra underwear.

"Okay na? Sure ka 'yan na 'yon lahat?" He asked while leaning on a show rack. I look at my bag and nods.

"Yes." I said and he nods.

"You forgot these." He said raising another bag.

"What are those?" I asked,

"Goggles, extra towel, then slippers. You're wearing a sneakers so I bought you these." He said and I nod.

"Yes yes, thank you." I said and he nods. He reaches for my hand as we exit the mall and went back to the beach. Gladly there's some changing rooms and there I changed to my swim wear.

"Ready?" He asked as we stand by the shore.

I nod, "Okay." I said before we run towards the beach and I immediately felt how cold the water is.

"Oh my God! Ezekiel its so cold!" I squeal making him burst out laughing. He swim towards me and wrap his arms around me.

"Ezekiel your hug won't do anything." I said and he giggled.

"I just want to hug you." He said and a smile escaped my lips.

We play and swim until 11 noon, when the hit of the sun on our skin started to get stingy, we go back to the shore and change to new clothes. We decided to leave the beach and eat at a restaurant instead since since we almost had everything there.

"Here's your beef steak, and here's here's chicken barbecue." He said as he came back from our table from getting our foods.

"Yey! Let me take a picture of your and our foods first!" I excitedly said and pull out my phone. He pose for the picture that turn out well.

"Look!" I said and showed him the food.

I saw his brow crossed, "Why?" I worriedly ask.

"Angel... hindi naman ako kasama sa picture eh. All of those are foods." He said and my brows furrowed.

"What do you-

"But I'm your dessert."
