Chaos Series 1: Angel

"Angel, may nagpapabigay sayo." My head snap up at my classmate's direction when I heard his voice called me.

My brows furrowed, "Huh? Kanino daw galing?" I confusedly asked while flipping my pen in my hand. He look at the bouquet.

"Walang pangalan eh. Pero para sayo, tapos nakita ko nalang dito eh." He said and I slowly nod before standing up from my seat and walking towards him.

He handed me the bouquet and leave me there. I pull the bouquet closer to me and inhale the scent. 

Mhmm, rose, my favorite. Not just an original rose but a white rose. Match with pink rose which made its its more better.

I reach for the small note at the side and read it.

Goodluck on your finals my Angel.

It didn't say any name, it didn't state or show a person's name if who it came from. But even though that's the case. I still know where it came from.

I went back to my seat and put the bouquet down on my lap before reaching for my phone and scroll through my messages to  find  his account. When I saw that he's online,  I can't help but to giggle.

to Alaire Ezekiel:

Thanks for the flowers, you really know what I want.

I bit my lower lip as I hit send and put down down phone before continue reading. Just like what it is stated in the note, it is my finals today and after this, I'll just be waiting for my graduation and internship and work!

I'm so excited to do all the adult things. I'm even hoping that mom na dad would let me live on my own because I've been wanting to be independent and experience all the hardships in life.

Though Ellie and Ezekiel warned me about it. That being an adult and doing all the adult work is hard. But that's the point of life right? Life will give you  challenges and hardships and your mission is to conquer those hardships.

And of course, you'll face problems  such as financial problems when you're short in money. But if you have a stable job and don't waste money on such useless things. Be mindful and have a control in money. You won't have such financial problems. 

My eyes snap at my phone when it vibrated, I pick it up and I'm sure it's Ezekiel.

from Alaire Ezekiel:

You're welcome, after this saan mo gustong pumunta? What if lets head to the mall first? And then...  tomorrow, Saturday, lets go to Tondaligan Beach, I badly want to bring you there.

A slight chuckle  escaped my lips as I read his messaged. I pursed my lips bit still can't hold my smile.

to Alaire Ezekiel:

We'll see, lets talk about that after exams. I need to do a last minute review first, okay? Bye bye!

Okay, bye luv!

I didn't reply to his message anymore but I did feel flattered after I read it. Ezekiel became so sweet and caring after we became official. It's not so sweet that it became cringe or weird.

As a person who's its her first time to have a relationship. Everything feels new and different but it feels great. It's not like those things I see on social media making jokes about people who's in a relationship where they stay up late just to to and call.

Ezekiel is different, around 9pm, just right when I'm about to sleep he would message me and ask me if I'm about  to sleep. Its like he memorized my schedule and sleep schedule. When I reply that I'm about to, he's happy and he would tell me sweet goodnight. But if I tell him that I need to stay up late for a test or exam, he would offer if he wants to call so that I wont feel alone. Or sometimes, if he have an upcoming test too, he would just tell me a goodluck and that's it.

We also barely go on dates. But I did find a solution so that we can go on dates after class. Since me and Ellie use the same van. After class, we would ask the driver to bring us to the mall. And once we are inside the mall, me and Ellie would split up that's the time for me to meet up with Ezekiel. We've been in that set up for almost a month now. Since its just been a month that we are together. And we just celebrated our 1st monthsarry a week ago.

The prof came and we immediately put away all the things that has to do with our exams. He handed the papers out and i took a deep breath first before looking on how thick the paper is and checking the test types.

In the end of the morning classes. Or I should say when lunch came. I sat there on lunch table, blankly looking at nowhere.

It's done, classes are done, we just need to go to school for the remaining days because it's mandatory. But no classes anymore. We can just stay at our classrooms or go around the campus to enjoy the remaining time before we take the paths of adults.

"Angel! How's your finals?!" My body jolted up a bit as Ellie put her hands on my shoulder. She seems excited as she sat down across me.

I'm surprised when I saw Ace and Ezekiel behind me. They are probably with Ellie. Ace sat beside Ellie while Ezekiel sat beside me.

"Don't make it obvious." Ellie mumbled and I slowly nod.

"How's your final exam?" Ellie asked, her hands clasped together under her chin.

I smiled, "Its fine, its okay actually, there's only a small chance that I'll fail. I answer most of the questions without a hassle." I said and she slowly nod.

"What about you? How's your exams? You too, Ace, Ezekiel?" I asked while looking at them three since they took the same exams.

I heat Ace grunts, "May ihihirap pa pala ang math." He said making us chuckle.

"It was fine, lahat ng ni-review ko lumabas sa exam." Ezekiel said beside me.

"That's great! Sure na ang graduation nating apat!" I excitedly said and they nod.

"Okay na rin naman yung akin, just like yours, hindi naging hassle masyado ang pagsasagot." Ellie said and I nod.

"So... shall we eat?" I asked and the three chuckled.

"Mukhang nagutom ang Angel ko sa exams niya." Ezekiel said before ruffling my hair a bit.

"Huy, Ezekiel, don't make it too obvious sabi." Ellie said Ezekuel chuckled.

"Okay, sorry." He said and we stand up to go to the counter to get us foods.

We got 2 orders of fried dumplings, 2 orders of fried sisig, Ace got himself a rice bowl of beef tapa, egg and rice. Ellie got herself chicken nuggets,  I have 3 pork barbecue, and Mami, while Ezekiel ordered barbecue  chicken wings and rice.

"Gosh, celebration na rin ba natin 'to dahil we are finally graduating soon?" Ellie said as we sit down on our tables.

"Hindi, lunch lang 'to, you're making things so complicated." Ace said and Ellie glared at him.

Ezekiel chuckled beside me, "Tumigil na kayong dalawa, lets just have lunch." Ezekiel said and Ellie rolled her eyes before proceeding on her food.

We peacefully eat our lunches even the whole cafeteria is in a big noise. Probably students asking their friends on how their exams went too.

"So... ano na ngayon? Tapos na? Wala na tayong gagawin?" Ace ask ask as we exited the cafeteria.

"Marami pang pwedeng gawin, tamad ka lang." Ellie said and Ezekiel chuckled who's beside Ace.

"Ako pa talaga ang tamad ha?!" Ace said in an annoyed tone. Ellie just kept her attention on her phone and didn't bother  looking looking Ace.

"Oo." Ellie shortly replied and I just shake my my at the two.

"Alam niyo, may gagawin pa pala ako sa office, una na ako." Ezekiel said and the four of us stopped walking.

"Ayaw mo talaga mag pa-party?" Ace asked and Ezekiel smiled.

"Huwag na, gatos pa yon. I'm fine not having any party sa SSG." Ezekiel replied and Ace nods.

Ezekiel looked at me, but signaled me something. My lips parted a bit and nod before he started walking walking the opposite direction.

"Ahm... guys, mag gagawin lang ako sa classroom, aayusin ko lang mga gamit ko, iwan ko muna kayo." I said and when I saw Ellie nods, I went to the same direction where Ezekiel went.

"I'm here!" I excitedly said as I enter the office. Ezekiel chuckled and stand up from his table.

"So... I'm planning to go to Tondaligan tomorrow. What do you think? I heard there's really a lot of foods there and they're all delicious. The view is also great there, what do you think?" He asked as he walk closer to me.

My lips formed a small pout as I look at the ceiling.

"Sure, I'll work on it first, okay? Mag-iisip muna ako ng dahilan kila mom and dad." I said and I saw him pursed his lips and slowly nod. He inserts his hands on the pockets of his pants and lower his head down for few seconds before looking up once again and our eyes meeting each other.

"Hanggang kailan natin itatago?" He suddenly asked which caught me off-guard. My lips parted but no words came out.

"Uhm... kapag... kapag we have our stable jobs na, okay?" I said and and slowly nod.

"Okay, at least may balak ka na maging legal tayo sa parents natin." He said and I nod.

"Of course naman, who doesn't make their relationship legal to their parents anyways?" I said and Ezekiel chuckled and wrap his arms around me and pull me closer to him. I immediately hugged back and blurry my face on his shoulder.

"Awan ko nga eh, basta ako, gusto ko legal na tayo."
