EPISODE 3

1498 Words
|Tuesday, 7th of January School is a place to learn, to meet new faces, to smile with the black and whites, to maybe play the sport you dearly most and of course, meet your ONE TRUE LOVE??? THIS IS THE BIGGEST LIE I'VE EVER HEARD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Let me describe what school actually means: School is where you meet people who will make your four years a living hell, judgmental kids who'll treat you like a sh*t and voila! The principal or dean will point you as the culprit if you decide to fight back because you've had enough. School is where you learn to cheat in class, steal someone's boyfriend or girlfriend, will teach you how to snatch a football player and f*ck a cheerleader, gossip about a nerd, bully a fat, what else? I can't seem to remember now because a lot bad had happened. And it saddens me that I've been able to realize one thing when it comes to school- a pretty face will always win, a rich kid will always win, and the third and fourth genders will always lose. Pretty sucks right> Well, that's the truth. And if I could be proud of something, that is I DON'T SUGARCOAT MY TRUTHS NOR LIES. Believe it or not, i know how to deal with my own truths and the lies of the others. If you're thinking I'm violent, then continue thinking about me that kind. Because that way, I can somehow feel I have power to stand my confidence. But, may be making my confidence bloom was too late? Please tell me I'm just on the right timing, diary. Sincerely, Miguel. ▪▪▪   Miguel woke up from having a bad dream. He could feel himself panting after he woke up, realizing that he's really tired from running, based on his dream. He stood up from his bed as he enters the bathroom, washing his face with a cold water coming from his faucet. As soon as he had calmed himself, he stares his own reflection as a sad smile curved on his lips.   Do I need to trust them? He couldn't stop thinking about what happened yesterday. After logging out from messenger, he sighed as he took out his food from the oven, devouring the taste in his throat. After that? He remembers none.   "Miguel? Honey, it's already six o'clock. Get dressed and come down for breakfast, okay?"   "Yes... mom." He sighed once more, remembering school. As much as he doesn't want to attend school, he needs to because he wanted to learn as well.   "Mom, I'm starting to think that what if... well, what if I'll just get homeschooled instead of going to school every day?" He proposed. His mom immediately stops slicing the carrots that night, looking straight in her son's eyes.   "Why do you want homeschooling? Isn't it a bit more fun to go out and meet your friends?"   "Well, I'm just thinking about the expenses. I would probably save more money for college because paying fare every day, buying snacks every day, even buying my uniform and school bag would save enough until I get to college, right?"   "Miguel... look, son. I don't want you worrying about expenses okay? That's my position to get worried about it and not you."   "But mom-"   "Miguel, tell me the real reason why you want homeschooling."   "I already told you."   "And I don't believe you."   "Really."   "It sounded like you want something yet you're making excuses." He sighs as he knew that it is not because of his college tuition, yet, it is one of his reasons.   "You know that public schools are way cheaper than private, right?"   "Yes."   "And suddenly, private academies only provide that kind of schooling."   "But won't it be the same? You'll pay less if I get homeschooled! And if I stay in public school, you'd pay more."   "No, you're transferring or anything and that is final."   "Mom!"   "I know you wanted homeschooling but you're already in tenth grade! Couldn't you just finish there yet?"   "But-"   "Okay, I'll make you a deal. After you finish this school year, I'll let you decide to which school you're going to attend in your eleventh grade. Okay?" He sighed once again before nodding. After remembering that sad conversation with his mom a few days ago, he shrugs his feelings off, removing his clothes and letting the cold water hit his fair-toned skin. ••• Just by standing Infront of the school gate makes him scared to what horror lies into the school. Another year had just begun but the situation of him with his intimidating classmates makes him want to back out and drop out of school. But the sight of her mom getting disappointed will never fulfill his heart to make his mom cherish him the way he wanted to. Since his mom had a new boyfriend, she had changed.   "Oh, look who it is! The endangered b*tch in our school!" He didn't turn around instead, his grip tightened from his backpack strap. He closes his eyes for a second as his ears reacted to the voice. It was Baxter, the one who would want to pick up with him, even if he didn't do anything wrong.   "Hey babe! Wanna suck my d*ck?" He asks as an evil grin plastered in his lips. “I can pay you a dollar!” He's with his bros, Mike and Ashley.   "That d*ck of yours that is as small as my little finger? Well, kind of not interested in there, BABE." He fought back. Ashley and Mike made an 'oohhh' sound, making him smirk to his fierceness.   "What did you just say?"   "What? You want me to repeat it? Because I'd love to let the crowd see how small that c*ck of yours that you've been bragging and if you don't want to f*cking stop picking up on me, I swear to God you will never see me again because I'm gonna pick those eyeballs of you, got that!?"   "You stupid Gay-"   "If I'm stupid, what should I call you then, huh? Hmmm, let me think... Well, I can't think of one because I don't care about you. So, you either embarrass me here again here, or I'll kick your ass." Baxter gave him death glare before tapping both of his friend's shoulder, heading first into the school. As soon as their figures are no longer to be recognized, he sighed in relief as he is indeed proud of how strong he looked like by threatening the number one bully in their school.   "I thought you're not that tough as you seem!" A person complimented, making him turn around to see a tall, blonde guy, wearing the same uniform as his. He joined him as they walk together into the busy hallway.   "Well, maybe I just had enough of his cockiness and fought back."   "He's been doing this to you before?"   "Yep. Almost four years now."   "Why didn't you fight back before?"   "Maybe because I was just scared back then."   "So, you're not scared now?" That made him stop, making the guy stop as well.   "I'm sorry but I think this is the first time I've seen you in this academy. And now, you're interrogating me like you're interested in me-"   "I am interested in you, Miguel." He felt like his heart skipped a beat after hearing the guy Infront of him tell that.   "What-"   "Oh I'm sorry, did I say something wrong?" He didn't respond.   "What was your name again, mister?" He asks, having this feeling that he somehow knew this guy Infront of him.   "Oh right I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you my name." The guy slips his hand out of his pocket as he reaches it to him. "I'm Kyle... Kyle Rainey."   •••  Kyle and Miguel have stayed with each other for the rest of the day until it was time to go home. Since it was still 14:00, both decided to go have a conversation, agreeing to visit the nearest cafe. As they were both settled, they had a bit of an awkward conversation until Miguel decided to open a topic. "How did you know it was me, by the way?"   "From your profile."   "Then how come I've never seen you here before?"   "It’s because you don't look further."   "What was that supposed to mean?"   "I've transferred here last year and since then, you've caught my eye."   "Tsk! You don't even know me!"   "That is why I'm here."   "Why are you telling me this? Making me flatter or I don't know-"   "Do I flatter you?"   "Ye- I mean, no! Not at all."   "Well, can you be my friend?"   "I don't like having friends."   "Why not?"   "Because I hate trust?" "Is that a question?"   "It is an answer."   "Okay, whatever you say... So, can I call you mine then?"   "WHAT?! I'm not some kind property or anything."   "You don't want me to be your friend so I'm jumping to the next level-"   "Exactly!"   "What?"   "Whatever."   "I guess that'll answer my question. You're mine now."   "What the heck! I'm not a girl."   "Who said I'm into girls?" He could feel his cheeks burning, making Kyle chuckle with his expression. "I'm sorry, I didn't think my joke would go that far."   Son of a b*tch! He cursed to himself as he stood up, going straight into the bathroom. He enters one of the cubicles, sitting and feeling his heart thumping real fast. Trust my ass!
