CHAPTER ELEVEN

I dashed just seeing the creature, it was a big black wolf, his eyes were filled with hunger. I looked back it was still chasing me.

I saw the ground where  Williams was standing. Seeing him relief coursed through me but the wolf was following me and Williams was standing before me, a few feets away. He could get hurt.

"Williams! Move!" I yelled at him. He looked at me. His eyes went wide.

"Duck" he yelled. I ducked, which made me loose my balance and  I fell on the ground rolling.

It took me some minutes to get hold  my self,sitting I looked around. I didn't see Williams. I looked towards the wolf that was coming after  me. It was fighting with another wolf.

The other wolf was pure white. His legs and body were strong. How in the hell did it get here and where the hell is Williams? It took sometime for me to figure it out. Oh!! Shit... Don't tell me.

He ripped the black fur's head and it went limp. Bits of memories flashed through me, making me to hold my head as pain coursed through me. I raised my my head.The white turned towards me, his face was covered with blood and the moonlight shining on him gave me, chills.

His eyes met mine, his pure black eyes looking into my soul. I sat there, our eyes never wavering, like time has stopped.

The more I looked at him the more I felt calm. That was weird, I should be afraid and running for my life. But I felt safe at his presence.

Our moment was shattered when we heard a gunshot, and I flinched when the bullet hit the ground near me. I looked at the man who tried to shoot me. anger flared through me.

I swiftly took the gun probably David's that was lying beside me. Wait. Did just said his name?

I aimed and fired right between his eyes. The wolf stopped sprinting towards the man. He turned his head back to me.

My eyes slightly wavered to my left and saw a  brown wolf that was sprinting towards  Williams.I fired again, causing Williams to bulge his eyes out. He looked at the down brown wolf and back at me.

I looked around, the scene that was happening. The gunshot probably caused the two teams to fight. But instead of the number of humans that I saw before was less.Most of them were wolves.I looked at him, his eyes changed   in to worry. So wolves that are injured must be his team. He looked at me, I had a strong urge to help  Williams. I must me crazy!

Williams  nodded at me and I nodded back. Again weird. It was like I knew his language, we both sprinted towards where the the wolves were fighting.I sighed, thinking again that I was crazy to help him in his fight. David ran towards the wolves and I ran towards the men. My started pumping more blood because of the excitement.I stopped to count how many asses were to get kicked.

Eight.

I smiled at myself. It will be one hell of fun and I sprinted towards the first man I saw.

David's pov:

I was looking at the video of Adriana kicking the man's ass. I must say, I was really stunted when I saw her moves.

She was really something.

"Yeah! Perfect for a luna's position." Said Sam.

"Oh! Will you just shut up?" I said.

"Hey, David, you shut up! I waited for ten years for my mate. Ten years! Maybe you don't want her but I want her! She is my luna. Our whole life is for her. We cannot live without our mate.

Put that through your thick head." Said my wolf.

"I don't want a mate. I am complete." I said.

My wolf replied with a scoff. I blocked him. And focused on the video. Jeezz! Where did she learned that move?

I took the file containing her info.

There is nothing much. She is a student. In her last year of MBA. Her mother died when she was ten. She has a little sister and grandmother. The info doesn't tell about, she taking classes in martial arts. I narrowed my eyes. Well,that's suspicious, then how did she do that in the elevator? What did she tell to the man?  How did she knew about my secrets? I sighed rubbing my temples. It was giving me headache.

I started to do me paper work so that can forget about her.

"s**t" I said slamming down my pen. It's been a hour and I cannot stop thinking about her. That girl was crawling into my head. I sighed and stood up walking towards to get my whiskey. I took the bottle  and a glass. I poured it and drank it. Sighing as the burning sensation settling down in my stomach.

I drank a couple of shots. Being a werewolf, it would take a lot to get drunk. I loosened my tie,sighing I closed my eyes.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door and Jake, my beta came in.

"Yes, Jake." I said opening my eyes.

"  Alpha, the head of the rogues wanted to meet you in the forest." He said.

"Let's go" I said. I got in the backseat of the car. I engine purred into life and set off to the forest.

There was news that a gang of rogues where attacking different packs. Most of the packs where either obeyed or got destroyed.  Weird thing was that their alphas were easily killed in the fights or agreed to join them. How dis they do that? Now  they have their eyes on my pack.

We reached the forest and when I got off, I was greeted by Jasper, my omega.

I mindlinked my omega to bring some of the strong men, in our pack. Just incase when things go wrong. We went to the place where his men was waiting.

I walked in the front and stopped in the center. My men walked past me, and stood in their position. I was standing in the back. Aware of my surroundings.

One of the rogues started to speak. I stood their eyes fixed on them, but my ears scanning if there was slight sound of noise. The night was so silent. Tonight was fullmoon.The time were the wolves are at their strongest. The rogue was talking, my beta responding to him. I didn't heard anything, I was focusing on surroundings.

Suddenly I heard, the sound of something getting hit. I turned around and saw a wolf laying dead. How dare they?  I looked back to where my beta was standing. I mindlinked him.

"attack"

They started attacking, I stood there scanning the environment. How did the wolf got hit? Why didn't  I heard any movements when it took off,when I was on high alert? Anger fled through me.

I was going to attack, when I heard a familiar voice yelling. I looked to my right, where the sound was coming from.

My eyes landed on a very great scene. Her hair was flowing in the wind, her eyes fixed on me, relief passing through them,the sweet smell of hers engulfing my senses,the way that her legs move. Oh god!!

My sense came back ti me when I saw a black wolf running behind her. Mt blood started to boil. How dare he thought of laying a hand on my mate?

I saw he him gaining on her. I yelled her to duck which she did, I shifted into my wolf form,my wolf taking over me. He was not that strong, within seconds I tore his head apart. Blood spilled on mt face. I looked back to her,where she sat,her eyes wide.

She started to touch the side of her head, like she had a headache.Then she looked at me.Our eyes met. Oh god! That eyes would the death of me. I could hear her ragged panting. It was driving me crazy with all kinds of thoughts that would considered inappropriate.

Suddenly, flinching, she tore her eyes away from me. I looked at the man, that was holding the gun. I dashed towards him but stopped in the midway when I saw the man fell down with a bullet between his eyes. I was stunned.

I looked back, to see my mate holding a gun,which I despite the circumstances looked sexy.

My eyes bulged out, when I saw her shooting another wolf who was trying ti attack me,when I was caught my guard off.

"Alpha,we are loosing the fight"  Jake said through mindlink.

I saw her scanning the fight.I understood that she knew we were going to loose.I looked at her and nodded to her, she nodded back. Yep,she understands me. I sprinted towards the wolf that was going to rip Jake's head.
