CHAPTER TEN

Adriana's pov:
Dad dropped me at the apartment at five in the evening. When I was walking through the parking lot, I saw my already parked car. Because we won the project plan, dad treated me to a great lunch, then we did some grocery shopping for tomorrow's dinner.
I never done grocery shopping with someone. Most of the time I ate home delivaries. Shopping was never my cup of tea. It was a good feeling.
Feeling all these things, I guess fate gave me a second chance to experiance what I didn't get in my previous life. What I had lost.
I reached my apartment and went in.
I got showered and changed into a pair of shorts and tank top. I made a cup of coffee and sat on my sofa to think.
Ron made his move today. He hired one of his henchman to kill me.
~Flash back~
The palm covered my mouth and pulled me inside closer to him,a knife pointed at me.
"You shouldn`t have provoked him." he said.
I grabbed his hand that held the knife, distancing it from me, I banged his face with back of my head, he lost his balance for a moment, I twisted his hand that I was holding, took the knife and smashed him against the wall ofthe lift, the sound of the side of his face hitting the walls, filled the elevator. He was puffing. I pinned my hand forearm at the back of his neck and held the knife at his eyes.
"Is it Ron Smith?"I asked slightly puffing.
He nodded slightly. I laughed.
With just one hit at the right point,I made him unconsciousHe slopped down and hit the floor. I looked up to see that The lift was going to eight floor, I hit the button and waited.The lift opened.I poked my head out and saw no one. I dragged the man out and put him on the chair that was next to the window of the long hall.
~End of flash back~
That thought made me think about Williams and what happened in the lift.
Never had I felt like this. When he leaned closer to me, I really was going crazy. I even had the thought of kissing him. Oh god! What the hell was happening to me. I thought of kissing the person that I detest the most!. And his look when I left, I can't even Erase it from my memory. I shook my head to dismiss the thoughts of him. I had business to do.
Tonight will be the last night of Ron Smith. I smirked. My phone vibrated, I took and opened the message. It was from Max.
Hey, you free tomorrow?
Yeh, Why?
We can go and celebrate our winning.
Yeh,sure. Let's meet at the cafe at ten.
Yep. Take care. Bye.
Bye.
I shut my phone.I was about to call him and talk about his disguise. I drank my coffee and sighed.

I glanced at my watch. It was nine. I waited for Ron to make his appearance. He should be here by know. I changed my sniper gun that I took from my old house,the one where I died, from one shoulder to the other sitting on a branch of a tree.
It was chilly and full moon.The moon light made a clear vision of everything like it was day light.
The forest was so thick,but the view when I saw on the tree top was umbelievable. Guarded by the trees was a big grass ground.
I heard the sound of grass mushed by footsteps. I saw a man's appearance, side of his body. I aimed my gun at him,looked through the eye piece.
I was shocked to see who it was. It was David Williams.
Ron wanted to meet him? But why? I put my gun down and waited to see the things unfold. There was a couple of half naked men with him, they moved towards the centre, making him stand behind.They all were strongly build, but David Williams stood out from them.
Then I saw some men coming from the opposite direction,where Ron should have cime from. They were also half naked, they were talking.I couldn't hear anything. What's with them? talking, while standing half naked? And where the hell is Ron?
I again took my sniper and looked through it, moving it, I stopped when I saw Ron, slowly emerging from the trees from were Williams came from a few minutes ago. There was three men with him, one of them was shirtless. They waited for a few minutes.
I aimed at Ron, my fingers on the trigger. I paused when I saw him nod at the man who was half naked, then what I saw was something that I couldn't believe and thought it was dream. The man, who was shirtless turned into a wolf and started running.
I blinked my eyes for a few times, absorbing what the hell was happening.
I was in a daze. I got my sense back, when I saw him dashing towards Williams, The wolf was going to hurt him,instantly I again aimed and pulled the trigger. The wolf man was down. I sighed in relief.
I again took my gun, aimed and fired, Ron was shot in the shoulder. I packed my sniper gun and jumped from the tree, when I landed, I instantly
dashed, I heard sounds of the leaves crumbling,there were men following me. I stopped in my tracks and listened.
I hid behind the trees.I heard the crumbling of leaves getting nearer.
I stopped my breathing,I slowly reached for my knife in my boots and waited.
The sound stopped, when it passed by the tree,where I was standing.I took a peek,planning on how to attack.
I was so happy and giddy.It's been so long since I have done something like this. There were two men.
Within few minutes they were down.Looking at them I smiled to myself.I raised my head and my eyes went wide.
"Oh my god!"
