Chapter 6The girls’ congenial mood continued as their full acceptance in the group of young people led to further diversions. There were daily excursions arranged, such as a picnic at Cleeve Hill or similar outings to beauty spots surrounding the town while the spring weather held fine. Adrian’s advice was eagerly sought on their clothes and accessories for these trips, and his cousins were flatteringly eager to include him.
