as I am sitting on the dock waiting for the farie to arrive. my big brother is on his way back from Cuba with our father. there coming to the gyspy camp for a wail till his next job comes along. da is a wandering gyspy. he doesn't stay very long just long enough to pay the family dues and get ma knocked up again with a brother. see I'm the only girl in my gyspy family in over 79 generation. due to a voodoo queen put a spell on my ma family tree. so I am a buayu gyspy who works as a waitress at the local bar. the Blu frog. I look older then my years. I was homeschooling to be the perfect gyspy women for her husband. so reason why pa is home earlier then Normal is because I turn 16 in a few weeks and they have to pick me out a husband. well I'm against it myself. I been saving up all my earnings since I was about 6yrs old working in gardening and local shops. sweeping and mopping the floors. I have over $2,897.24. I have been saving up just for this. to run away and start my own life. I want a real house and to stay put in one place linger then 6mnths at a time unless it was to come back here to the gyspy compound to visit n pay our dues. see if I leave and run away I can never come back here. so I have to think very hard about this. I'm going to miss my family but I'll not marry some old dude my father n the claim pick. so as I'm sitting here watching the people get off the farie onto the dock. people walking by giving me weird looks see for a gyspy you are flashy I'm not that flashy I like to blend in not stick out but because today isn't a normal day. so I am in pink Yellow green and red n blue. dress. well I see my dad n brothers coming my way I am very happy and sad at the same time. what they don't know us I am skipping out on that same farie when it pulls out. my bags are checked my ticket in my bag. see today I am ready to start my life in Michigan. see they wouldn't think of Michigan. I have a penpal from there who I met at a gyspy compound when I was little. so I am heading up there to see her. I got a new identity and thus is going to work I have mapped it all out and worked the plan through my head all week. I hear my father yelling gabbriellea are you paying attention to me. I said sorry father I am running late to my job and this farie is the last one for a few hours. I'll see you da at home Tonight for dinner. I love you good bye my family. the farie horn goes off for the last few honks letting the new arrival that its departing time. as I am walking up the plank to get on the big wheel boat to new lands and new beginnings and avengers. I wave good bye to them. and turn to light a cigarette. as I am inhaling and take a puff I let go of the past. good bye old life. onto the next chapter of my life. so I'm on the boat coming up to the gridlock of Detroit Michigan. wow it's cold here. lol so I am so glad I got my van when I was 15 for my birthday from my brother's it's got a full tank of gas my cool is full of food and I got water and pop. my hole life is in my van. wow it's sad. but I'll not be homeless. as I drive off the farie boat to land I am turning on to the highway to go to a small town up north called pawpaw Michigan. I called my Friend from the pay phone telling her I was on my way. she said she's ready to head out west. I tell her I'm game. let's take rout 66 to California. takes me 5hours to get to her and one tank fill up. so I pull into her drive way I hear her dad yelling and screaming at her. calling her worthless disgusting waste of space.
