"Alana! Time to get up sweetie, It's 6 o'clock!" Ever since Alana graduated in college where she finished a bachelors degree in management, She tried her luck in Manhattan with her best friend, Ella. The two applied in so many companies wishing to work as any possible job they can get. Luckily, they got a job in one of the famous architectural company in the city called Art Life. "I hate mornings"- Alana muttered still with her eyes close. "Well, you better get use to wake up early since we are to be at the company in 7am!" - Ella shouted "No neet to shout Ella, I can hear you!"- Alana said while rolling her eyes. At 6:30am Alana and Ella are ready to go to Art life, and since their apartment is just a few meters away from the company, they have the opportunity to just walk to get there. "This is our first day here, so we just need to enjoy and be ready for whatever we may encounter" "And why do you say that? be ready? for what?"- Alana asked. "Don't you know? maybe we can meet some employees here that are not-so-good, or maybe we can just meet some hot guys here"- Ella muttered while oggling the man who just passed by. "Ella! we are here to work and not to flirt!" "Oh you're such a baby Alana" Alana just laughed at their conversation. While Ella was assigned to be at the marketing department, Alana was assigned to be the assistant's subordinate. She was told that Ms. Mariah is the assistant of Art Life Director, Mr. Levin Dawson. With that, Alana needs to be trained for in case Ms. Mariah is not around, She will handle the tasks that needs to be fulfilled. "Good morning, Ms. Thompson" - Ms. Mariah smiled, showing her perfect teeth. Ms. Mariah is around 40, but although with that age, It is clear that the woman manage to be as beautiful. "Oh, good morning Ms. Mariah, please you can call me Alana, Ma'am" - Alana humbly said. The woman warmly smile at her and showed her the way through their office. "This will be our office, opposite to Mr. Dawson, How about we start our day with a little sip of coffee?" - Ms. Mariah said. "Oh I would be happy to help" - Alana stood up and followed Ms. Mariah. Alana was taught about her task, what Mr. Dawson prefer for coffee, and a lot more. Ms. Mariah was so compassionate and Alana thought that the woman really love her work. "Thank you so much for your time Ms. Maria, I will do my very best to be good for the company, Ma'am". - Alana smiled. "Oh no need to thank me, Dear, This would be your job too, and since I'm old enough, I think you can do much better than me"- Ms. Mariah winked at her. Alana was shocked and asked "Are you going to resign Ms. Mariah?" "I think I am old enough for this job sweetheart, There's one month left in my contract, and I think after that, It's time for me to go home with my family". - Ms. Mariah sadly smile at Alana. "But, you're not old Ms. Mariah, you are so beautiful and you are so compassionate on your work here"- Alana replied. Ms. Mariah simply smiled at her and started typing on her computer. Alana was so confused because she thought that her work would be the assistant's subordinate, and now that Ms. Maria is planning to retire soon, 'Is it possible That I will be the director's assistant after Ms. Mariah retire?'- Alana thought in her inner mind. 'Oh Dear, I am not yet ready for that'- She thought. An hour passed, and Alana is so busy typing the schedule of Mr. Dawson when the telephone rings. Ms. Mariah took the telephone and focusly listened to what the other line was saying. "Copy Mr. Dawson" - That's what she heard from Ms. Mariah before she stand up. "Come Alana, it's time for you to meet our Director"- The woman smiled. Alana was so nervous but Ms. Mariah affectionate smile calm her. "Mr. Dawson needs the contract with Riverside Hotel, He wants to see it before the meeting" - Ms. Mariah said. On their way to the office, Alana knew that her palm is sweating, she nervously wipe her hands on her skirt. Ms. Mariah open the door and got in, Alana hesitated, but with a little nod from Ms. Maria, She finally walk inside. Mr. Dawson's office is a true touch of manliness, at the center is Mr. Dawson's table and in front of it are two blue couch with a small gold table in the center. The walls of the office are glass where you can see all the buildings around the company. It is a sight to see. Alana notice the man standing at the glass wall, She had thought that Mr. Dawson is old, but the built of the man standing is not near old, In fact, His body could pass as a model, a body you could die for. 'Stop it Alana' she thought. "Mr. Dawson, we're here to give you the contract of Riverside Hotel, And I am please to introduce also, my new colleague, Miss Alana Thompson"- Ms. Mariah. Mr. Dawson slowly face the two women, and Alana's Face was in total faze, The woman was so shock when She saw Mr. Dawson's face. Alana couldn't believe her eyes! She was gasping for air just at the sight of Mr. Dawson! 'Oh God! what just happen! Think Alana! Think!' ..... Levin Dawson, The director of Art Life is an architect, He is known for his intelligence when it comes to business, He is dubbed as 'No mercy man' because for him, everything is at the palm of his hand, He think that He can all have what he wanted. Running a company is not easy, but with his Tactics, Art life became one of the famous architectural company, wherein almost in the business world when it comes to design, they always believe that Art life is a top choice. It was just a normal day in Art Life, employees doing their job, endless meetings and contract signing, and today, Riverside hotel and Art life will be discussing the contract, and Levin wants to see the context of the contract. "Ms. Mariah, Can I have the copy of the contract of Riverside Hotel, I just want to review all the context of it." "Copy, Mr. Dawson" - Her assistant reply. While Levin was waiting for his assistant, He relax his body and suddenly stand up facing the glass wall. He was deep in his thoughts when He Heard his assistant's voice. "Mr. Dawson I have here the contract of Riverside Hotel, and also I want to introduce my new colleague, Ms. Alana Thompson". Levin turn his body towards the two women, and what a sight! 'Of all places huh, This is fun' - Levin smirk. The very woman He couldn't erase in his mind since that night... Alana was so annoyed seeing the man smirking at her 'I'm so doomed' Alana thought. "It's nice to see you...again"- Levin said with a playful smirk in his lips. and with that, Alana's eyes widened. "I think you have mistaken me for someone Mr. Dawson" -Alana gasped. Ms. Mariah observing Alana and Mr. Dawson suddenly clears her throat, "This is the contract Mr. Dawson". "You can put it on the table Ms. Mariah, and Oh, Can I have a private chat with Ms. Thompson, I just want to ask some...questions to her" "Oh! Of course Mr. Dawson"- The old woman cast a concern look to Alana, as if asking her if she is okay. Alana nod to her direction and nervously smile. When Ms. Mariah was nowhere in sight, Levin stride towards Alana still with his signature smirk. Alana didn't know what is happening but before she knew it, Strong arms covered her tiny waist. "You're onto vanilla hmmm?"- Levin muttered while gently tug some strand of her hair. "I'm sorry Mr. Dawson, but I think you have mistaken me from someone, if you will excuse me" - Alana muttered while trying to get her body away from Levin. "You can't run away now baby" Levin tightened his arms around Alana's waist. "Let me go!"- Alana said but Levin still unfazed, leans his face accross Alana and whispered "Can't wait to work with you Baby" Alana gasped by the sudden action of Levin 'But you can't deny the fact that He smells so good' 'Oh shut up!'-alana thought. Levin stared at the woman in his arms, "So gorgeous'. He let go of his arms on Alana's waist, and she take her time to run away from him as quickly as possible. Levin laugh at the sudden reaction of Alana, "Let's see Alana, You will be on my bed..Again." Alana run towards the nearest comfort room, gasping for air. She is so annoyed and confused. 'HE is Mr. Dawson! oh Alana, you are doomed', She clench her hands to compose herself, but memories from that night started to replay in her mind... 2 months ago... "We're finally graduating Alana!"- exclaimed her bestfriend Ella. The two of them have the same course and since their freshman year, They became friends. Alana was a working student, she had a part time job on a coffee shop near their school. Alana became independent since the passing of her parents due to car accident, She was at the time in her freshman year, With no one beside her, She promise herself that she will finish her studies by hook or by crook. Alone and lack of money, She manage to get a job on a nearby coffee shop as a waitress. With her looks and humble demeanor, The old lady who owns the shop was fascinated with her. "Yes Ella! I'm so happy we're finally getting a Diploma!" - Alana exclaimed, totally ignoring the guys who are casting an admiration look on her. "And with that! we need a celebration!"-Ella grins excitedly. "I know what's in your mind Ella!"- Alana said and laugh at the reaction of her friend. "Please, Alana just for this night, can we at least have some fun?"- Ella winked at her. "I really want to come with you tonight, but as you can see my shift here in the shop is at night" "That is no problem at all, I can asked Mrs. Sam if you'd like" - Ella said. "Oh, I can talk to her Ella, but just tonight!" -Alana exclaimed "Ooh Feisty! yes my friend just for tonight!" Alana just shake her head and laugh at her friend. Mrs. Sam allowed Alana to go with Ella, the old woman was very happy and even say "Go with Ella honey, you really need to have some fun! go and enjoy yourselves" ..... By the afternoon, Ella and Alana were getting ready for their so called 'celebration' "I can't believe, we're doing this!"- Alana gasped. "We will be fine Alana, trust me"- Ella grinned. Ella came from a rich family, Her Dad, Mr. Max is an engineer and her Mother is a Pediatrician. Ella was rummaging through her closet to find a perfect dress for her and also for Alana. "Aha! Found it" -Ella giggles. She was holding a little red sleeveless dress, It was so pretty but at the same time, so short. "This is perfect for you Alana!" Alana was shock to see a dress so short, "No Ella, I cannot wear that!" Alana's eyes widened. Ella's eyebrows raised and said "I will be your fairy Godmother tonight Alana, and you will wear this one whether you like it or not" With Ella's tone, Alana can't argue with her friend anymore. After Alana showered, She makes her way to Ella's room. "I'm done, now where's this dress?" - Alana frowns. "Stop with the frown Alana, I promise this will look good on you" Alana glance at her friend, Ella is beautiful in her black bodycon sleeveless dress, She pair it with a white strappy heels "You look beautiful"- Alana grins at her friend. "I know Alana, now it's time for you to change, I'll do your hair and make up later" Alana strip her bathrobe, and change to the little red dress. Alana gasped when she sees herself in the mirror, The red dress flattered her body gorgeously, It stops in the middle of her thigh, It was also backless and shows her flawless milky skin. 'Can i go out like this?' asked her inner mind, 'Well there's a first time for everything' Alana walked in Ella's bed, and she heard her friend gasped " My God Alana! you look gorgeous!" "Oh don't flatter me like that, I'm still conscious about this" "Can't you see yourself in the mirror? I'm pretty sure all the guys there would turn their heads on you"-Ella exlaimed excitedly. "Oh shut Up!"-Alana muttered. Her friend only laugh. "Come here, it's time for your make up"-Ella rushes her. Ella is good, She curl Alana's long black hair and do a minimal make up for her. Alana couldn't believe what she is seeing, "Wow Ella! you made me presentable" "Are you crazy!?, you're breathtaking sweetheart! Oh this is so much fun" Ella exclaimed while grinning. Alana stood up and glance at herself on the mirror, 'Well not bad', She pair her little red dress with a black strappy heel, a black purse and they're ready to go. The two made their way to La Vida Nocturna, which is a prestigious bar, It is a place where businessmen, actors, actresses, models are having a nightlife. "Are you sure we're going here!?"- Alana frowns. "Of course my dear! consider it my treat" - Ella wink, Alana just roll her eyes at her friend. ..... Levin Dawson was just getting his rest when he heard his phone ring. It was his Friend Xavier, an engineer. "What's up?"- asked Levin. "Hey wanna come to La vida tonight? let's have some drink Man, It was so long since the last time we get there" "Fine! I'll be there at 9" -Levin said and end the call. At 9pm, Xavier and Levin was at La Vida, as usual the place was full of famous personalities. "This is why La Vida is heaven, Man, I can see Angels here"- Xavier muttered while oggling on a female actress opposite their table. Levin was just drinking, when suddenly He heard his friend again "Oh Dear me! Wow! who's that chic!?. Levin glance to where his friend is looking and He literally lost his breath! There are two women at the entrance, But the lady in red stand out so much, that every guy in the place can't refrain to catch a glimpse of the beauty. Levin studied the woman, 'By God, She's Gorgeous!', He heard his friend whistled and laugh, " I know that look Levin! seems like a beauty would be on Mr. perfect bed again" Xavier chuckled, Levin ignored his friend. He watch as the two women made their way on one of the tables beside them. As they are approaching, He can clearly see that the woman was sinningly flawless and beautiful, with her long black curly hair cascading down, to a face that you could die for, Long eyelashes can be seen, pointed nose and a lips like a ripe cherry that needs to be plucked, just the thought of it makes Levin so hard. Ella and Alana made their way to their table, ignoring the look of the guys trying to catch a glimpse of them. As they were on their table, Ella decided to make her way to the bar so she can order some drinks, leaving Alana. Alana was seated beside the table of two men, She raised her face to see if Ella is still in the bar, But she was faced with two eyes staring at her, He has an aura exclaiming 'Power and Dangerous', Alana nervously bite her bottom lip, and she can see that the Man's eyes followed her lips. ..... Levin stared at the woman beside their table, the same woman with the little red dress, He can see that she is not used to be here, As she raised her face looking for her companion, He met her eyes, and look at her menacingly. He can see that the woman look nervous, and to his satisfaction, the woman bite her bottom lip, Levin smirk, drink his last cup, and stand up, purposely striding towards the woman. .... Alana's eyes widened when the Man stand while smirking and walk to her direction, She was so nervous that She doesn't know what to do, but before she knew what was happening, She heard a voice of a man, "Hi"- The man said. Alana's nervous face was so visible, that Levin thought was very innocent. Alana clears her throat and replied "Hello". "I just thought that maybe you want some company since your friend is a little busy" "Oh, Thank you but I can manage by myself, thank you"- Alana said trying to shove away the man. 'Oh but He looks gorgeous! probably the most handsome man I've ever laid my eyes on' said her inner mind 'Back to yourself Alana!'- She thought. But the man just simply smirk at her, and without a word, sit next to her. "I'm Levin by the way". Alana just stare at the man's hand, confused if she would take it or not. .... Levin was rumbling inside for the woman in front of him was so stunning and at the same time a warning in his mind told him that this woman is innocent, probably her first time meeting a man! "I'm Alana"- He heard her soft voice, like a music to his ears. "Do you like some drinks perhaps?"- Levin asks. Alana gave him a suspicious stare, "No, don't worry I will not give you a drink with a sleeping pills on it, if that's what you're thinking". "I'm sorry but I told you before, I can manage by myself" -Alana said and with that, She stand up looking for Ella, leaving a shock Levin on the table. .... Levin felt that He was insulted by the woman, She just leave him there without a second glance or whatever. But a playful smirk come to his lips 'Feisty, I like it', He stand up and glance of his Lady Red, planning his next move. .... Alana reach the Bar, and there she saw her friend flirting to Levin's companion, "Hey" exclaimed Ella, " Come and meet my new friend Alana, This is Xavier, and this is Alana, my best friend". "Hey", Alana nods and smile to Xavier, "Oh Alana, here's your drink, I'm sorry I forgot to put it in our table" Ella giggles. "Lovely"-replied Alana. An hour passed, and Alana is getting used to what she is drinking. "Alana, stop it now honey, you'll get drank"-Ella exclaimed. "But you said let's relax, I love it here Ella, Can we do it again, next time?"- Alana asked while giggling. "Of course sweetie"- replied Ella. "I want to dance"- Alana chuckled and with that, She went to the center and dance her whole self, forgetting that she was in a crowd full of men, planning to take her like their new prey. ..... Levin stared at Alana while drinking his last cup, He saw the woman standing up, a bit tipsy and dance at the dance floor. 'She's hot' - says his inner mind. The guys at the bar started whistling, and Levin started to get annoyed. He didn't know what was happenning to him, but He wants Alana just by himself. 'To hell with it!', He started to follow where Alana is dancing, and without a word He grab the woman on her waist and she gasped in shock. ..... Alana is dancing to her content, she didn't know what is happening to her, but her body just wants to sway with the music, 'Maybe, I'm drank'. She heard some guys whistling but she didn't know whom they are cheering for. She continue to dance when suddenly someone grab her by the waist and face the handsome man staring deeply in her eyes, She gasped when the man tightened his arms around her waist, his body exclaimed power. 'I know this guy! is he Lovin? Luvin? Lucifer? oh God! I can't remember his name!' "You're drank" says the man in her ears, Alana shake her body to break free from the man now hugging her. Just at the thought of it and Levin can't refrain from laughing. Alana was so confuse as to why this man is laughing! "What's funny!?"- asked Alana Levin stop laughing and look at the woman shooting daggers at him, He click his tongue and smirk. "Maybe you want to sit down with me and Let's drink our hearts out?"- Levin said grinning. Alana started to feel dizzy, and just nod with the man. Levin started to walk while still holding her waist. At the bar, He saw his friend Xavier making out with Alana's friend, Xavier also sees him and wink. While they were on the counter, Alana started to drink again with Levin. "Oh, don't mind Mr. Dawson sweetheart, He's a little bit strict but you will do just fine, Just do what he ask you"-Ms. Mariah said. 'but you definitely enjoyed that night!' says her inner mind 'Stop it, Alana! get to your senses!'- she thought. .... 5pm came, and Alana is starting to pack her things when suddenly the office opposite their office open and revealing the very man! It's Levin with his signature smirk! He walk to her table and stop in front of her, His eyes travelled to her lips and down to her bosom. I need to shake him off my mind!- Alana thought. "Good day Mr. Dawson" -Instead She said. "and we're back to Mr. Dawson huh?"-Levin asked. Alana just rolled her eyes and glance at other employees, conscious because she didn't want to become a hot topic if in case they heard their conversation with the boss! something Levin didn't miss. "By the way, Alana, It's a PLEASURE, you're here, Good Day"- and with that He walk beside her and whispered to her ears " Laters Baby". Alana stared with her eyes widely open with Levin walking to the elevator, and before the elevator close, gave her a smirk, leaving her with her mouth open, gasping for air. While in shock, Alana's phone started ringing, It's Ella! ''Hey! you ready to go?"- ask Ella. "Yeah I'll just pack my things and I'll be right there"- replied Alana. Ella is at the 10th floor of the building while Alana is at 15th floor. After she pack her things, She bids goodbye to some employees who are still there, Ms. Mariah had an emergency so she leaves the office at 4pm. ... She met Ella at the first floor, her friend is beaming ears to ears. "How's your day?"- Ella asks. "Terrible"-Alana muttered. Ella frowns. "What is it?" "Just met my nightmare" - Alana replied leaving Ella with a confused look.
