(Lena's POV). "I don’t know what you’re talking about," I said quickly, cheeks burning as I kept my gaze low. "I’ve been training. That’s all." Kai’s laughter rolled out, deep and amused, echoing through the empty training court. He leaned against the rail, arms crossed, one brow c****d high. His silver eyes glinted with mischief as he tilted his head. “Oh, don’t be shy now, Lena. I’ve already been inside you, remember?” His voice dropped lower. “No need to pretend.” I covered my face with my hand, groaning. “You’re such an ass.” Kai chuckled, pushing off the rail and sauntering toward me, that familiar predator-like grace in his steps. He stopped inches from me, close enough that I could smell his smoky cologne and the wild scent of pine that always seemed to cling to him. H
