Bye for now consultant Y.

Soon, without realizing it, Yaa fell asleep watching the TV show in an extremely uncomfortable position. Due to the discomfort she felt, she kept turning left and right to no avail. Seeing her turning, Kwame subconsciously walked towards her seat and pressed a button which made the seat flat turning it into a mini bed. As he was about to turn, he noticed that her forehead was covered in sweat and her lips were moving though her eyes were closed. Strangely, he felt miserable seeing her in this condition and thought she was sweating due to the fact that the air condition was not turned on. He called the air hostess from earlier over and told her to put on the air condition before asking for a blanket. The hostess did as told and left the room soon. When she left, Kwame wrapped the blanket around Yaa before he walked towards his seat. Oddly, he didn't feel good leaving her on her own thus moved to the seat opposite her's. Though the air was much cooler now Yaa kept sweating, turning and murmuring. Kwame tried concentrating on his work but he couldn't, his eyes kept moving to her direction every now and then. He found it strange since he was one who never cared about anyone. Ladies threw themselves at him but he ignored every one of them. What was so different about this lady that he felt sad seeing her in this state. After thinking about it for a few minutes, he couldn't take it anymore, stood up and walked to her seat and squated. He putted his hand on her head and checked her temperature. Apart from the fact that she was sweating, nothing was wrong. Suddenly, Yaa's hand pushed his from her forehead. " Don't touch me, you bastard" she whispered loud enough for him to hear. Was she talking to him, he asked himself. Not knowing what to do, he leaned in and was listening to her whispers when she suddenly pushed him. Caught completely unaware, he frowned. "Don't touch me, please, let me go. Joo, you don't have the right to touch me." she said as she tossed and turned. Who is Joo, he asked himself. Why was she drenched in sweat. Was she having a nightmare, what was he supposed to do. Utterly confused, he felt helpless. Half an hour later, Yaa woke up drenched in sweat. There were eye bags under her eyes. She turned to look at the guy next to her and sighed. He didn't see her in that state. What she hated the most was people seeing her vunerable side. What she didn't know was that while she was having the nightmare, Kwame had been very restless trying to make her feel comfortable. He diverted his attention from her when he noticed her turn, making small movement that indicated she would wake up any time soon. Two hours later, the plane landed and as she was walking out, her legs suddenly felt weak and as a result she almost fell, however, before she fell, she felt a pair of masculine hand wrap around her thin waist. She tried to free herself but was too weak and thus could do anything. She felt dizzy as the world spun around her. Slowly, she felt herself falling into darkness. When she came to, she was on a hospital bed. Looking at her suorronding, she realized she was on drip. Without hesitation, she pulled out the tubes, changed into her earlier outfit and walked out of the hospital. When the staff came to know about her leaving, the manager contacted Kwame and told him about it making Kwame smile subconsciously. "Bye for now consultant Y, we shall meet again soon" he said as a rare smile spreading his handsome face. ************************************* Immediately Yaa left the hospital, she got a call from her grandfather. " Yaaya, how are you, l was informed that you are in the hospital, which hospital is that, tell grandpa, where are you, Im on my way there." He said in an overly concerned tone. " Grandfather, you know I'm currently not in the country. And besides, there is nothing wrong with me. I just came here for a check-up." She said in the most neutral voice. Old master Boateng's lips twitched. If the bodyguards he placed around her to secretly didn't tell him, he would have been completely fool by his granddaughter's lie. He couldn't help but sigh, it was alright if she didn't want to tell him. He just wish she would revert back to her old clingy and selfish attitude. All he could do was pray was that it would happen sooner or later. *****************************. When the call was disconnected, Yaa made her way to the hotel she had booked. Unbeknownst to her, Kwame was also staying at the same hotel and in fact he was her next door neighbor. When she checked in, the first thing she did was, take a bath while the hotel worker assigned to her unpacked her luggage. After she was done showering, she got down to work. She had accepted a job offer a month ago and she had to be present here in order to accomplish it. When she was only thirteen, she had worked with the FBI for a month before finally quitting. They had tried to contact her on many occasions but she ignored them. She accepted to do this job because the people in question had dared, come after her younger brother. Her parents sold him the minute he was born since their beloved Abena didn't want him inheriting their properties. She had taken it upon herself to look after him even though they all thought he was dead. Not even her grandfather knew of this. She sent him off to the military two years ago only to be called and told her brother had been kidnapped. There was no way she was going to allow anyone to harm him, not on her watch. After hacking into the other party's security system, she finally found out where they had kept her brother. Her eyes became blazing red when she saw a young boy who was only ten's bloody body bound to a chair. It was her they wanted right, they didn't need to worry because they had indeed caught her attention. She was going to make them regret being born, that she promised.
