"What do you mean you'll help me escape?" I said as I stared at Hedi warily. I couldn't tell what she was thinking or if this was a game to her. I still needed a lot of information and getting it out of her seemed like an up hill battle.

"It is exactly as I said, I could help you and the others leave, however, some must stay, they are too far gone." Hedi said with a sad smile on her face. I could see her shoulders slouching as if the weight of the whole world was resting on her. The guilt in her face showed her age as the sunlight glittered off her sporadic silver hairs against the honey brown. She was still elegant in her features but you could tell her past weighed on her.

"Why would you help me?" I eyed her looking for any tell that would give away her deception. The emotions that passed through her eyes only for a second showed her pain and sadness. As quickly as they appeared they vanished to leave behind her normal gray eyes that were studying me in return.

"Would you like to hear a story? This tale I have not told to a soul, you would be the first." Hedi said as she looked out the window to a past I didn't know.

"Well I'm currently your captive audience so please go ahead." I said while trying to draw her attention back to me.

"Over a hundred and ten years ago my great great grandmother Ambrosia started a war between the wolves and the vampires, she however, didn't realize that her actions would cause such a rift to appear. She fell in love with the Vampire King Antonio Girardi. Being a witch this would bring great fortune to the vampire clans that he controlled. Unfortunately the Wolf King Alexander Regulas found her and claimed her as his mate. She was distraught and did not feel the pull towards the wolf king. Antonio vowed to kill any who dared to take her from him, but as you have guessed the mate pull is strong in you wolves." She chuckled as she looked at me. 

"Needless to say Alexander and Antonio fought over her. The war caused the lives of many wolves, most of which were the mist walkers. Alexander had forced the mating ritual on her and impregnated her with your great great grandmother. Enraged Antonio swore vengeance. He killed Ambrosia and tried to turn your grandmother to take her as his own. Ambrosia had placed a spell on her that protected her from him. This is why you have your powers. Your line is the only one with those powers. Andromeda ran from Antonio and eventual found a home as a maid in the Royals palace. She found her mate from one of the Princes and that would be the Father of your Great uncle. Antonio is alive and has conspired with your uncle to hunt down your family. Antonio caused your Uncle to kill his family and twin brother. He has learned of your sister from your father. He plans on claiming her even if she is mated." She said as I stared at her wide eyed.

"The hell he will" I said standing to my feet, with rage daring for Apollo to come out.

"My sister was your grandmothers friend. and your Uncle's true mate. Antonio feasted off her thinking she was Andromeda. I have cast a spell on your uncle so he believes I am his mate. I promised her I would save you. I plan on keeping my word." Hedi said as tears streamed freely down her cheeks. "I must save you, or all wolves will perish if he gets what he wants." She was gripping her skirt with her fists as she trembled with anger at the thought. "Now do we have a destination?"

"Let me reach out to Venus and we may have a place to go. How many wolves do you think there are that can make the journey?" I asked as she wiped her tears away. 

"Roughly two hundred most of which are kids." Hedi said as she tiled her head to the side, "How do you plan on communicating with Venus, I had to place spells all over the place to block all mindlink abilities."

"Family secrets." I said as I reached out to Vee

Laughing I looked at Hedi and smiled, "We have a destination. Now how are we going to get out of here?"

"I am going to withdraw my mind bending spell off all of them and I need you to reach out to them with your mind and let them know what the plan is. They need to stay in the zombie form until your uncle leaves, which is tomorrow. He's going to inform Antonio that he has you." Hedi stated as she reached in her pocket and pulled out a letter and handed it to me. "From your father. I am sorry I couldn't save him."

"After tomorrow you will have done enough, thank you." I said as I took the letter from her thinking it would be better to read this with Venus I placed it in my back pocket.

Apollo signaled he was ready to reach out to all the wolves here. "Ok I'm ready go for it"

Hedi mumbled a few words and snapped her fingers, immediately my mind was full of voices and cries from all the wolves that had been awaked from their slumber.

Hello, I am Zeus your true Alpha, we are planning on leaving here tomorrow, but I need you all to remain calm and still pretend to be mindless Zombies as to not draw suspicion on to what we are doing. I have a place for us to go but I need your full cooperation to do this. My sister has a place for us so please be patient as we wait for our time to leave. I will come and release you when it is time. Moon Goddess bless you.

And to you as well. I heard in unison from all the wolves. "It's done" I said as she smiled at me and we planned our escape late into the night.
