INTIMACY
Blanca pulled open the door of the tavern and fought the cold against her bare forearms. The touch of Carlos’s hands on the small of her back made her gasp. He prodded her towards the street to her rental car.
His eyes sparkled in the moonlight as he opened the driver’s door for her. “Are you sure about this? I don’t want to pressure you if you’re not ready.”
Blanca’s arms tingled as she smiled. “Yes, very sure. I’ll meet you at your place.” He closed the car door, waved, and went to his car and waited.
