CONNECTION
Sunlight streamed through the window when Carlos awoke early Sunday morning. Birds chirped, and light sounds of traffic filtered through. He rose from bed and peered through the bedroom window. A short drizzle had dampened the ground before the glaring sun appeared.
He yawned, recalling his amazing night with Blanca. He looked over at her with further desire, a heated rush permeating his body. He had had a taste of her, and he wanted more. He realised he was falling deeply in love with her.
He returned to bed and watched Blanca sleep for a few minutes before she stirred and opened her eyes, lighting up at the sight of him beside her. The sheet was wrapped around her toned leg and she moved her arm over to his side.
His eyes lingered on her. “Hey you.”
