Linda Rankin again has an informal meeting with Rhonda Flamboise. In being transferred to custody, Rhonda no longer her direct supervisor, visits to her office are deemed inappropriate.
Entering Harry’s Bar, there stands the stern woman, bottle of brew in hand, Glock prominently positioned at her right hip to ward off undesirable flirting males. Unless diapered and in need, men have little attraction. Discussion at Jailbird’s Café deemed risky, too many Federal law enforcement employees imbibing after hours, Harry’s has the right people and the right prices. Rhonda waves, Linda reading her lips as the woman turns to a crusty aging bartender to order a brew for her cohort.
The women exchange greetings, Linda’s sharp eye surveilling for possible interlopers. None seen,
