“Really, princess,” I murmured, watching as Elle gave the twins their juice. Then I glanced at Irina. “Is Eva coming?”
“Yes, sir.”
“Lucas, I’m here,” Eva’s voice called. The moment she laid eyes on the girls, tears welled up and spilled over.
“Oh my God…” Her hands trembled as she stepped closer. “My Lord, they are so beautiful.”
“They’re the female version of you, Lucas,” she whispered, her voice breaking.
I nodded proudly. “Yeah. This is Maya, and this is Dorcas.”
