Chapter 11The museum’s HR department gave me the runaround. I called them on Monday morning at ten sharp to explain my false positive. The man I spoke to promised to relay my request for a second d**g test to the person in charge of such matters, and they’d get back to me. I knew in my gut they’d get back to me as soon as they’d filled the position, the perfect polite excuse to dismiss “that shoplifter girl” or however they surely referred to me in shorthand around the break room.
