Chapter 23I went to NA that night, desperate to vacate my house and my head. And also to listen to people’s stories and to try to figure out if what I had for Badger was a new addiction or not, in case I ought to be more worried about it. By the end of the meeting, I’d decided that since it wasn’t interfering with my ability to hold a job or threatening any of my personal relationships, I was probably just plain old lovesick, not love-addicted. I left feeling good about my recovery, having realized I’d be getting my shiny twelve-month chip in a couple weeks.
