Two days had past, and I had been constantly been tortured by different psychopaths. Ever since I last saw Egayov and gave him a proposal, the man had never gone back to that prison room.
Trevor’s hope was even kind of fading.
He was now covered in blood. His body painting in places he never knew he had. Clothes destroyed only wearing black underwear.
He tried persuading the people who had come to give him his everyday torture for the past two days. But those bastards were as cold-hearted as hell. Despite them being humans. God knows how the hell they even ended up helping Egayov.
One week went by, still, Egayov was no were to be seen. Maybe he was fearing that he might get persuaded by Trevor? Maybe he knew Trevor’s plan.
That day he was still laying on the same filthy blood bed he had been for the past two weeks. I was even kinda getting used to be tortured.
Then he swerved to see how his punisher was for the day. Then his eyes widened.
A black woman entered and closed the door behind her rather seductively.
She wore a very short dress and high heels. With red lipstick.
She walked towards Trevor, moving her hips like no other.
“Hey handsome,” she said.
“Does Egayov think I’m that weak?” Trevor said and looked up.
“What do you mean? Don’t you like my presence?” She touched his shoulder. And he felt something tingling in his stomach.
“No, I don’t. And for the record, I’m a married man. Where the hell is Egayov?” Still avoiding her seductive eyes.
“Master Egayov is not here. He left to take care of some important work. Now that is not what a came here to do,” she turned his head and kissed his forehead.
Trevor’s underwear was getting a bit too small to accommodate his snake. But with a few deep breaths, things seemed to go back to normal.
“Let me guess, you came to torture me. I’m now used to that,” he spoke.
“Oh, no. I’m here to do something more painful than torture. My dear,” she licked his ear.
He moved his head, “disgusting,” he muttered.
“Are you sure it’s disgusting?” She began touching his chest. “Do you love your wife?” She looked at him, but his eyes were elsewhere. She turned his head. “Do you love your wife?” She asked again.
“Of course. I do,” he sneered.
“I don’t think so,” she grinned, showing her bright teeth.
“And why?”
“Your snake is up,” she indicated.
“It has the mind of its own. Now do what you are here to do and leave me alone. Also if you get in touch with Egayov tell him I have something that might interest him ok?” And he looked away again.
“But I’m already doing what I came here today, my dear.”
“Will you quit calling me that! And what do you mean?” He snapped.
“Mind manipulation silly,” she laughed lightly.
“Mind manipulation?”
“Yes, but it’s kind of not manipulative because I just make people see what they are supposed to see. I deal with relationships and love. In your case, you have been lying to yourself that you love your wife, but deep down you don’t. You can never be in love, you see.”
“I love my wife, woman. Now if you are done, leave,” he glared at her. “You are just lucky I have this stupid power restricting bracelet. Women like you don’t deserve to live.”
“Ouch. But think about what I have told you, ok,” she kissed him. On his lips, this time, and went away.
He watched as she swayed her hips elegantly until she left the room.
Was she right? Did he only marry Loveness because he wanted to fill the void inside him? She might be, though. Trevor had never stopped thinking and talking about Maria.
One day, Sebastian even asked him if he was over Maria.
But if he didn’t love her, he wouldn’t have married her, right? And they are even expecting a child. So listening to such a woman would be a share waste of time.
Two days passed, still no sigh of Egayov. His body was now getting used to pain. That he even stopped feeling it during his torture moments.
Then just when his hope was lost, the door swung open. Egayov entered.
“Where the hell have you been?” Trevor snapped.
“Well, it’s none of your business. And I didn’t know you missed me that much. Now tell me how is your stay here? Loving it so far, right?” He smiled.
“Well, kinda. But I didn’t miss your ass. I want to talk about what I told you that day,” he looked straight into Egayov’s eyes.
“Forget it,” Egayov stretched and took a knife.
“You haven’t even heard the benefits yet.”
“Because I don’t care,” he made a cut on Trevor’s thigh so aggressively.
“Dammit!” He snapped. “First, do you know the Academy?” He added. With so much torture, every day, he was becoming used to it.
“I have heard of them. Wait, why I’m I answering to such stupidity,” he took a sell tape and charged it to cover Trevor’s mouth.
“You can have their powers!” He shouted before Egayov could cover his mouth.
Then Egayov stopped and looked at Trevor.
“What,” he shot him that dark smile of his.
“Yeah. But I’m telling you nothing until you untie me. These freaking chains hate as hell. What material did you use, anyway? I would love to use them.”
“I’m not untying you. Do you think I’m that stupid? You are an ass. And such people are not to be trusted. So forget. And those kinds of knots can only be made by makers. Not stupid wizards,” still smiling darkly.
“Er...... Yeah, I think you are stupid. I have a freaking bracelet tied to my leg. So even if you untie me I will be useless.”
“Do nothing stupid.”
“Yeah, whatever.”
Egayov sighed and the chains around Trevor began untying themselves. After a couple of minutes, they finished and he got up.
He touched his leg on the ice ground then retreated as quickly.
“Damn. Can I have some slippers? This floor is cold.”
“Don’t you think you are asking a bit too much here? Mind you, you are a prisoner. You are not in a five-star hotel, ok? So take what we give you. Are you gonna tell me about those academy guys, or do I have to tie you up again? I’m actually getting tired of you. Killing you is kinds of the best option now.”
“Relax. I know a power extraction spell that I can use to transfer the academy’s powers to you. Once we catch and kill those bastards, of course. And imaging having their powers and yours,” Trevor said, still sitting on that hard freaking ice bed.
It was kind of warm than the floor. The fact that he had been laying there for weeks now.
One weakness they all have is, they are too eager to get more powerful than anyone else. So killing them by that is the best option.
“Don’t even think of double-crossing me. I know where your family is.....”
“Yeah, I know. And I wouldn’t do that. We are bros now. So how about removing the power restraining bracelet, bro?” He grinned. Displaying the most adorable face he can make.
“Don’t call me that ever. And I’m not doing that until we find those academy people.”
“But can you at least heal me or something? You are a maker, after all. And I need some warm clothes. Not demanding. I’m asking master,” he bowed after seeing Egayov’s glare.
“I will send someone to come and take you out of this place. They will take you somewhere warm. And give you warm clothes. Then after that, they will bring you to me. So we can discuss the academy and their whereabouts in more detail.”
“Yes master,” he bowed again, smirking.
“I wonder how they put up with you. You are so annoying,” he muttered and turned. Left the room and closed the door behind him.
Everything was going just as he planned. Egayov walked right into his trap.
He touched the cold floor again. Slowly, he put his foot down. And finally, he stood up. Though still balancing. It had been weeks ever since he stretched his legs. And with being tortured, Damn he had a hard time. Though the cuts around his body were gone, it still pained inside a bit. It was difficult to stand. But somehow he managed.
He began walking around to familiarize himself with his body.
Now the only thing he needed was to get the bracelet out of his leg. But first, he needed to use Egayov for a while.
The academies were strong. But with him and Egayov fight against the Academy. Those bastards stood no chance.
Minutes later, the door opened. A black tall man entered.
Apparently, Yerrum seemed to contain more humans than normal. Despite Egayov not been a complete human. He sure liked to have human workers. You might even think the bastard abducted these poor souls.
The man took Trevor and they exited the room. They walked from the warehouse to the ice castle. And the place had more guards now than earlier. Every corner was heavily guarded. You might even think Egayov was up to no good.
They entered the castle and walked through the dark passage walls. Then finally reached a room.
The man showed Trevor his clothes, then told him to dress up as he waited outside.
Trevor entered the room. And put on a black leather jacket. Black jeans and a white shirt inside. Completed with military boots. Apparently, that was what everyone seemed to be wearing in that place.
He went out, and the man led him to Egayov for their final discussion regarding assassinating the Academy.
Trevor entered the common room.
A huge hall. Just like most common rooms. Except it was made of only ice. Everything inside. The benches and the high table. Even the chandelier on top.
Egayov was sitting at the chair in front. With an ice crown on his head. He was talking to two giants. In, a language that Trevor presumed was the language of that place. Since Emit seemed to use the same language when talking to Reyar.
After noticing Trevor, Egayov dismissed his guards. They walked out and glared at Trevor as they passed.
“Dude, what the hell are you wearing on your head? It looks like a tiara rather than a crown,” he burst out laughing.
“Ha, fun,” was all Egayov could say. But he removed his crown and put it on the side table.
“No, seriously, you should never put that on,” he said, masking up his laugh.
“Whatever. So tell me more about the academy,” he asked, looking more serious.
“While I know where they stay. Hopefully, they did move. So I can shadow walk us there. But they have serpents as guards. But don’t worry, they are kinda useless,” he sat down, facing Egayov.
“I haven’t given you permission to sit down.”
“Dude, are we still doing this s**t? I thought we have passes that stage. Let’s focus on the Academy now. For just once, stop trying to act tough. You aren’t. All you need is love and a family that supports you. You are a lonely asshole. So just quiet it. You might fool these bastards, but you don’t fool me,” he finally snapped.
And it kind of worked in his favor. Because instead of him shouting at Trevor, all just looked down. Comprehending everything.
Then the door opened and both Trevor and Egayov turned to see how it was.
The woman that came to torture Trevor the other day entered. And this time, she was wearing a transparent dress. Throughout.
Trevor’s jaw dropped. So he did the only thing any man can do in that situation: look away and avoid eye contact.
“Hey dear,” she touched Trevor’s shoulder as she passed.
Trevor’s insides tingled again.
“I see you have met my wife,” Egayov spoke.
“Your what?” Trevor looked up at Egayov.
“This is my wife Maggie,” Egayov spoke and shared a deep kiss with Maggie.
Just the thought that he kissed the same lips that kissed Egayov made his stomach sick.
But of course, telling Egayov that would ruin his plans, so he just went with it.
“Dear, Trevor and I are just discussing about what I told you earlier,” he looked at her.
“Or really,” she looked at Trevor while sitting on Egayov’s things. “Then I will leave you two gentlemen to finish up,” she got up.
“Dear, can you warm up the water for me? I need a massage later. Those bastards were not friendly.”
“Sure my love. See you later Trevor,” she said and left.
“You surely allow your wife to walk like that?” Trevor asked.
“Why not?”
“Dude, she is nearly naked.”
“Let’s do this. We only talk about the academy and nothing else, ok?” His face became serious.
“Whatever,” was all Trevor could say.
