Egayov moved and took a sip from Hope’s wine, then he sat next to Sebastian.
“You know I did spat in the wine you just drank?” Hope smiled.
“What!” Egayov snapped and began spitting on the floor.
Everyone burst out laughing. Even beating their hands on their knees.
“That’s not funny man,” Egayov spoke.
“I was just messing with you. I’m not that childish,” Hope said, his laughter dying down.
“Anyway,” Trevor whipped his tears, “you two need to go now,” he pointed at the academies.
“Wait, where are they going? I thought we need them,” Egayov said.
“They are going to their place. Then pretend that they just escaped from me. Thereby, gaining Reyar’s trust again. And since that woman who is after me, helped Reyar the, she will help Hope and Death as well,” Trevor said.
“And then these two bastards will lead her here. Then I’m going to make her pay for killing my father,” Egayov said through clinched teeth.
“Exactly,” Trevor said.
“I think it needs to be more believable. So I suggest beating the hell out of them,” Sebastian spoke and took a sip from Trevor’s wine.
“Do we have a say in this or?” Hope asked.
“Not even a little. Trevor, shall we begin? Oh, are we supposed to beat him as well?” Egayov asked, looking at Arron.
“I even forgot about him. But yeah. Since he walked with Reyar to kidnap Sebastian, then she will think he is on her side as well. And Arron, say you rescued them. Do I make myself clear?” Trevor asked. Arron just nodded. “Alright then. Let phase one begin.”
He got up, then moved a few feet from the table. Then he called his nature powers. He held his hands towards the academies, then he began moving his hands and the vines around the academies moved in the direction Trevor’s hands were moving. As he saw that Hope and Death were at least ten feet from the table, he stopped. Then he turned to Arron.
“Trevor, please reconsider. That woman will kill me if she finds out we are playing her,” Arron cried.
“Then make sure she believes you.”
He held his hands, and the vines protruded underneath Arron and wrapped around him. Then Trevor moved him from where he was and took him next to the academies.
Egayov and Sebastian went and stood on either side of Trevor, smirking mischievously. Then the three men began moving towards the academies and Arron. They looked as terrified as hell.
Before they could even begin beating them, the academies’ faces changed.
“Trevor, isn’t this enough for you? Our insides are literally on fire, man,” Death cried.
“Those injuries will heal immediately I moved about five feet from you,” Trevor said and moved a step closer to Death.
“Hope, brother, can we exchange?” Death pleaded.
“No, I’m good with the werewolf.”
“Arron?”
“I’m good with the maker as well, thanks for the offer Death,” Arron said and for a split-second, he forgot about the current situation, and a smile split on his face.
“Now that is settled, we can begin. Gentlemen, we shall,” Trevor spoke and looked from Egayov to Sebastian.
Trevor formed his hand into a fist. He looked up at Death, then smirked and punched the man in his face. Death screamed and looked up then he looked back at Trevor and blood was now coming out of his nose.
Trevor looked at his fist, then he punched Death in his left cheek. Death looked the other way, but this time he didn’t scream. He turned and looked back at Trevor as if nothing happened.
Trevor then began punching Death in the stomach, as hard as he can manage. The poor man kept on coughing blood, but Trevor was enjoying himself too much to notice.
Then as Death dropped his head, Trevor uppercut him so hard the man lifted his feet about five inches then fell flat on his back.
“I thought it was only a bit,” Death finally cried out.
“Exactly, you thought,” Trevor replied, then went and lifted Death.
He looked at Arron and the man was bleeding from both the nose and the mouth. And a cut could be seen from his forehead. Egayov was doing a good job.
Then he whirled to Hope. Blood was only coming out of his mouth, which changed the color in front of his shirt. And his eye was turning black. He looked at Sebastian and the man was breathing as if he just ran a marathon. But he was smiling from ear to ear.
He finally lifted Death and moved a couple of feet away.
“I think this should be believable enough. Don’t you think?” Trevor asked, looking from Sebastian to Egayov.
“I agree,” Arron replied.
“You have no say in this matter backstabber,” Egayov said and slapped Arron using the back of his palm. Arron stumbled a bit backward then finally slammed his butt on the floor. “But I agree. Mother will believe you beat the leaving hell out of them.”
“And how are we going back, if I may ask?” Hope said.
“Through the portal, what else? And Arron, stop being dramatic and get up. We have no time for your pretense,” he looked at Arron, who was trying to get up but failed. Instead of Trevor having sympathy, he thought the man was pretending. Which is justifiable judging by the man’s stupidity.
“Will you open the portal, so that we got over this nonsense as soon as possible?” Death said.
“Yeah, sure.” He took one black marble from his pocket and threw it. Then a portal got created, and the outside of the academies’ castle could be seen at the center of the sparkles. “There you go.”
“Er....... The vines?” Hope cleared his throat, “I’m pretty sure they won’t believe we escaped with vines wrapped around us,” he added.
“Oh, yeah,” he held his hands and dropped them. The vines began unwrapping themselves from the academies and Arron. Then seconds later they were free. “Think of acting smart, then I will finish you with no mess this time. Do I make myself clear?” The three of them just nodded. “Let’s hope you still remember the plan?”
“We do. We are not nine years old Trevor,” Death replied.
“Good. Now you can go. If phase two goes well, don’t forget to inform me, ok?” They nodded. “Even if things go south, we are here to help you out. And Arron here,” Trevor took the remaining black marbles from his pocket and gave them to Arron. “You can use them to teleport.”
“What about us?” Hope protested.
“You have your powers,” Trevor spoke.
“We are not good with teleportation,” Death said.
“And here I was thinking you know more than I do.”
“Boy, just because we are not good with teleportation doesn’t mean we can’t dismember you.”
“But here you are.”
“Don’t press it on child.”
“Will you two stop. We have pressing matters to attend to then, you stupid arguments!” Hope shouted.
“I agree with Hope. Now is not the time to fight with each other,” Sebastian said.
“He started it,” Both Trevor and Death said at the same time. Each pointing at the other.
“Seriously. Death, Arron, let’s go. And you three stay alert at all times,” Hope said.
“Sure,” they said together.
Then Hope stepped into the portal, followed by Death and last Arron. Then, after a few seconds, the portal winked shut.
Trevor moved to the table as sat. Sebastian and Egayov followed him and sat at the table as well.
“Are you sure they won’t betray us?” Egayov asked.
“Hundred percent, no. But I’m sure they are not that stupid to make such a move,” Trevor replied.
“If you say so. And I think I’m going to bed, my eyes are getting heavy.” Egayov got up from the chair and seconds later he winked out of their sight.
“I think we should also go to bed. We need to get some sleep,” Sebastian said and got up.
“Yeah,” Trevor replied.
He got up, then touched Sebastian’s shoulder, and they disappeared. Seconds later, they reappeared in the living room.
The room was very dark, and the only light was coming from the window to the left. But even that was not enough to lighten up the room.
Trevor waved his wand and the tip of it got lit, but only enough to see three feet from them.
“Can’t you just turn on the light?” Sebastian scolded.
“We are going to sleep. What is the point?” Trevor replied and began walking towards the stairs.
“Why are you leaving me behind?” He ran and caught up to him.
“Scary cat,” that was all Trevor could say.
