1494 Words
When Hermes finally landed Antonio and Christine at Olympus both were happy to be home but then they saw one of Hade’s monsters on the loose.  “Well, so much for going back to school...thank goodness I inherited dad’s archery skills… but I need a bow and arrow, one appears out of thin air, oh that works…” Christine was worried sick but was glad for the bow at least she could do something to help her new family. “Good to have a dad who loves war, but a sword would kind of be nice, a sword appears, and I think we’re going to like it here!” Antonio was pleased with the new sword but not happy for the reason he needed it. “I think so too, but now we got a monster to kill, come on!” they ran to help their parents, and what Christine saw she didn’t like… “Mom, of course, she would be the damsel in distress… we gotta save her!” Christine worried for her mom knew she had to do something but didn't know what yet “Don’t worry we’ll save here but here are our dads!” Relieved, both of them were happy that they had some help on their side. “Christine you’re alright I guess you saw mom…” it relieved Apollo to see Christine alright and hugged her tightly “Well, it’s kind of hard not to miss a three-headed dog!” Christine was scared about the Cerberus and wondered how they were going to save her mom “True, but I’m so glad you two are here we need your help on saving her.” Apollo needed their help, the more they could get Aphrodite away from here! “Of course, we’d be here why wouldn’t we help mom. I finally get to see her, and she gets into trouble… figures…” Christine felt like it's her fault just had to do something but didn't know how to yet. “She causes some trouble, but his time this is Hades causing trouble this time…” Apollo said with anger in his tone. Hades has been known for his troublemaking skills but this was a new low. “Oh, that’s no surprise he does like doing that. Is he trying to take over Olympus again?” asked Christine getting angrier and angrier at Hades for taking her mom. “Yes again, but now we got you two… you’re more powerful than you think,” Apollo said happily and relieved. Normally he would just have Ares do this by themselves but since Hermes brought Christine and Antonio, they have more help and power on their side! “Oh, boy this should be interesting come on we gotta save mom.” The fight with the weird dog went on for hours, bows flying, blood dripping; parts’ flying… it was a bloody mess eventually Aphrodite was saved. “Mom, you’re ok; don’t do that again!” Christine hugged her so tightly she didn't want to let go of her...Christine was covered in sweat and blood from the battle, but it was worth it to have her mom back in her arms again “I don’t find trouble, trouble finds me!” Aphrodite was all out of breath but was relieved to be back on the ground and not in the clutches of that dog. “That’s where I get it from… that explains so much…” Christine always wondered where she got that from, now she knew why. “At least you two are alright I thought it’d been worse than it already was, but not bad for your first battle.” Apollo was happy to be reunited as a family again, then suddenly Christine was on her knees in pain… “Christine, what’s wrong are you alright?” Apollo said worriedly, luckily for Christine he caught her so she didn't fall completely on the ground just onto her knees. “Well, if I’m on the ground in pain I’d say no! I guess the dog scratched me." She looks at the scratch on her stomach and notices a deep scratch., "Oh yeah, it did…” it was a pretty nasty scratch too, right across her stomach area and along her chest. “Ouch, that looks painful here let me help Christine…” Antonio tried to help her up, but he didn't want to hurt her more either. “Thanks, Antonio, maybe you and my dad can help. He’s also the god of medicine… what, how I found out was an English project. I had to do research.” Christine tried to keep things fun when things were not so good, but it impressed the others with the research she did for this project. “Oh, that explains so much…” Antonio was impressed, but right now he needed to listen to whoever could help get her better which was most likely Apollo. “Enough chat Antonio go help her… we don’t want her to lose consciousness because of blood loss,” said Apollo sternly, he knew that if they didn't get moving towards their home where all of his medical stuff was Christine was going to lose consciousness quickly.  “That’d be bad Apollo… come on we’ll take her to her real home.” So Antonio carried her to her new home, but while she was in Antonio’s arms she lost consciousness, and Apollo noticed but said nothing, they just had to hurry home. “What’s wrong is Christine ok?” Antonio looked worried and frightened he only felt that once and it was for his sister when she got in an accident when he was young and doesn’t remember her much. “She lost consciousness on the way here… put her here on her bed!” Apollo ordered Antonio, and of course, he listened. Everyone was worried about Christine, hoping that she's going to be alright, but things did not look good... “Oh, no not good… not good at all…” He did as he was told and did the best as he could to help her… hours went by and she still didn’t gain consciousness yet… then Apollo really worked his magic he did some of the mortal medicine, but now he’s going to add the god magic to her… it was six hours total to get her to sleep so they knew she was at least conscious. “She alright Apollo, right?” asked Aphrodite worriedly... she did not want to lose her daughter as quickly as she came back into their lives... “She has consciousness, for now, she’s asleep… and that’s the best I can do Aphrodite, but she’ll be in good hands with Antonio so let’s leave them alone…” So the hours turned to days and she was still asleep...Apollo tried to help her, but it only helped a little but Antonio was there for her no matter what… “Oh, Christine I wish you were awake… I miss your singing voice just please get better… please…” He missed her so much that he cries which is something he doesn’t do at all… and with him being half-god the tears can help heal people kind of like a phoenix but it’s not as powerful. “Groan, Antonio, you there?” said Christine in a hushed tone of voice. She was finally awake after being asleep for almost a week... “Sighs, Christine you’re ok we’ve been so worried about you!” Antonio hugged her gently but was relieved that she was going to be alright now that she was awake again.  “Sorry I made you worry… guess that scratch was more than it was.” Christine was weak but at least she could have a small conversation.  “I guess so, but I’m happy to know you’re alright.” Antonio smiled a little at her and held her hand as they talked.  “I’m happy that you’re happy… is there something you want me to do?” Christine was happy that Antonio was with her to keep her company for the entire time that she was asleep.  “I haven’t heard you sing since we met at the airport… would you do the honors?” or at try to he didn't want her to strain herself too much. “I’d love to what song?” asked Christine. She hoped she could sing again, but she too didn't want to strain herself too much either. “(If you remember) the song you sang at the airport.” as Antonio smiled he gave her a small hug. “I know exactly what to sing… guess now it’s our song.”  “I guess so… now please sing?” She was singing All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera it’s her favorite from that show and it’s how Antonio and Christine met that day at the airport on the way to Greece…
