Chapter 6 the secrets

When Antonio finally got back to Apollo’s temple Christine was still crying and Apollo was there IN PERSON to comfort her.

“But dad, you didn’t have to come down from Olympus I would have been in excellent hands when Antonio gets back from talking to his dad.” cried Christine. Her face glistened from the tears she was crying and was giving Apollo a big hug.

“I know but you’re my daughter and Zeus understood when I asked him to come down,” said Apollo comfortingly. He had waited a long time to do this... comfort his daughter when she was sad, or happy, or just wanted a hug.

“Thanks, dad, hugs, it means a lot to me… not only do I get your comfort, but I get to see you in person!” Christine smiled at him through her tears and held onto her hug.

“I knew it’d make you happy but I don’t think we're alone anymore,” said Apollo nodding to Antonio near the entrance of the temple.

“Antonio, what you doing here? I thought you were with your dad?” it shocked Christine to see Antonio since she thought he was still talking to his dad.

“I was, and I gave him something to think about… but there’s something I gotta tell you.” Antonio didn't want to see her hurt, and he felt bad that he did.

“Me too… I got something too… uh dad you mind leaving us alone for a moment?” Christine wanted a little privacy to talk to Antonio alone 

“Not a problem I’ll make sure your mom is out of trouble.” and as quickly as he came, Apollo went back to Olympus and let them have their privacy. 

“Ok-what do you want to tell me, Antonio?” Christine was a little nervous, she guessed what Antonio wanted to tell her, but she wanted to hear it for herself. 

“No, why don’t you go first…” Antonio trying to be a gentleman even though he knew he crushed her 

“Why don’t we say it together… on the count of three… one-two-three, both of them, I like you.” both were shocked and looked at each other surprised 

“Wait-you like me? Like as in friends or like…” Christine couldn't shake the look of surprise off her face.

“The second one… I’ve been too nervous to say it,” said Antonio bashfully and nervously. He wasn't sure if he was blushing but he didn't think so.

“Really… me too… I think my mom worked her magic on us this is what I get for having a mom that’s the goddess of love and beauty.” Christine was blushing pretty hard and smiled.

“I guess so but now that we know our little secret I’m not afraid to do this," HE KISSES HER! "You’re amazing, beautiful, talented… I’ve met no one like you…” Antonio had wanted to kiss her for a while but he thought now was the right time

“Well, I could say the say about you! You’re sweet kind to me when I need comfort, handsome, talented! You’re all that I hoped for and much more!” Christine was surprised by the kiss but she blushed and accepted the kiss and wanted more of it... she wrapped her arms around his waist as they kissed and she kissed him more and deeper, as it slowly turned to make out.

“For a mom, that’s made for matchmaking I think she made a suitable match with the two of us, flying in the distance, you hear wings?” out of breath Antonio was curious about what the flying noise was.

“Yeah, I do… it's Hermes what’s he doing here?” Christine was also out of breath and was curious too.

“My Lord and Lady there’s trouble at home and they need you there please come.” Hermes flew as fast as he could to get their help.

“But we can’t we haven’t proven ourselves as ‘true heroes’ yet.” Christine was confused, and she knew the rules that Zeus said for them so why would they need their help?

“It was your dad, Christine that told me to give you the message.” The news that he had to tell them saddened Hermes, but it had to be said. 

“Ut-oh I hope he’s alright… come on we have to go!” Christine getting worried, knew she had to go to help her new family.

“I’m with you Christine-I wouldn’t leave you for anything.” Antonio wanted to go with her to help her and he was worried too.

“Well, you two better hold on tight since I fly fast! Off to Olympus!” and Hermes flew as fast as he could to get back. Both of them worried about their parents and their first battle. What would Olympus look like? What happened to them? They tried to put these thoughts aside for now until they got there.
