Chapter 6

****summerstar P.O.V****

My last week as a normal high school girl has come to an end. My life is going to change and I don’t think I’m going to like it. I have been here my whole life. While I’m packing my stuff, I look through it and I remember the good times I had here. In that corner I usually play with my Barbie dolls and over here is where we used to see what all I would get every year. As I was packing, I started to cry. I couldn’t hold it in anymore. It is too hard to move from my one and only house.

I went and found mom and dad. They were in their room packing everything.

“Mom, dad, I can't do this. I don’t want to go.” I said while still crying.

“Sugar plum is okay. Everything will be okay. We are all moving, it's not going to be just you.” My dad said, putting stuff in the box and coming over to give me his great bear hugs.

“I know things are changing fast but this is what your biological parents wanted. Everything will be okay, I promise”, mom says while walking over and joining the group hug.

“Okay, I will try and be strong, but it's hard leaving everything.” I said while sniffling. I walked back to my room to finish packing. There wasn’t much left since I started last night.

We got everything packed and into the moving truck. My dad drives the truck, my mom drives her car and I drive my dad’s car. I have a permit but not my license yet, but I’m going to be behind my dad and mom, behind me, so no one will know. I don’t normally drive a car, but I know how. We all started driving. It was only a 20-minute drive, so we were not that far. When we got there, we pulled up to a big mansion. It's three stories tall. It is made out of brick and there are vines that go up the walls and it’s so pretty. My dad gets out of the car and he walks over to the car I’m in.

“This is the pack house. We need to go meet the Alpha and Luna. When you see them, please bow and greet yourself.” Dad says.

“Okay, get it. I had the kids pack it for me. So, I know how to do it.”

Mom walks up and holds dad’s hands and we start to head for the packed house. My dad knocks on the door and this very pretty lady opens the door.

“Welcome to Blue Moon Pack. I will go and get the Alpha and Luna. Please go into the living room.” The pretty lady said. She leaves us and goes up the spiral staircase and disappears.

As we walked inside, I saw that there was a spiral stair case that goes up to all three floors and it was made out of very pretty wood and the floor was marble. We walked into the living room. And sitting on the leather couches there is a really big TV. It looks to be 70” inch. This place is perfect. I heard three sets of footsteps coming down the stairs. Dad, mom, and I all stand up and bow.

“Welcome to the blue moon pack. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you three. My name is Alpha Jason Baralph, my wife Luna kali Baralph, and our son and, soon to be alpha josh Baralph.” Jason was a big burley man with long dirty blonde hair and a big beard. Kali was a kind of tall woman with blonde hair, big boobs and she was very curvy.

“Hello Alpha Jason and Josh and Luna Kali. It’s nice to meet you. My name is Samuel, this is my wife Joan, and this is a daughter Summerstar. Thank you for letting us come and stay here. It's an honor to finally meet you,” Dad said.

“Hello Alpha Jason, Josh, and Luna Kail. Nice to meet you. Thank you.” Mom said.

“Hello Alpha Jason, Josh and Luna Kali. Nice to meet you.” I said. We all bowed again.

“I will show you to your new house. Just as you requested, we have put you as far away from everyone as we could.” Alpha Jason says.

“Thank you so much for that. We just didn’t want to bug anyone and that’s why we took the house as far away as possible.” My dad says.

We walk out of the pack house and Alpha Jason turns into a big black and grey wolf and we get into our cars and follow behind him. We drove for a bit and I looked around. I saw a lot of small houses. They are made of wood. The only house to be big and very beautiful was the pack house. We finally made it to our house. It’s a cute little 2-story house.

“Thank you, Alpha. We have it from here. You have a good day and Joan and I will see you tomorrow for our meeting.” Dad said with a bow.

“No need to thank me. You have helped a few of our pack members have kids that they couldn’t have. So, this is our thanks.” Alpha Jason said as he shifted back into his wolf and ran back to the pack house.

We get out of the cars and start going inside with boxes. I looked inside the house with the boxes in my hands. This house was out of date. It had an old small refrigerator. The stove was old, the house was dusty and looked like no one had been there for a long time. There is a decent-sized living room. This is a 3-bedroom house. There are 2 bedrooms down stairs and I’m assuming the upstairs is one big bedroom. I went upstairs and I was right. The room was huge and had its own bathroom and walk-in closet. I went back downstairs.

“Mom, dad, you can have the bedroom upstairs. It’s made for you guys. I will choose the second biggest room down here.”

I looked at the 2 rooms down here and they were pretty big for not being the master and they had to walk in closets. I chose one father from the living room. It’s close to the bathroom. I started putting my boxes in there. My parents go upstairs and I think they like it.

I went back out to the moving van to get more boxes. I love how my mom was so organized and had everything labeled so I knew where things were going.

“Mom, I’m getting hungry. When’s lunch?” I asked.

“We could go to the packing house and see if they have anything for lunch.” Mom said

“Let me call the Alpha and see if we can go there to get some food. We will go shopping soon. My dad says as he takes his phone out and calls the Alpha.

I go and start unpacking the van again. I came back inside with some boxes.

“Alpha said we could go to the pack house and get some food. They are having lunch now. The pack house is normally for higher-rank wolves and their family to eat, not us.”

We get in mom’s little black Honda civic and go to the pack house.

The door is open. We walked in. This place is like a mansion. We get greeted by what I think is just a maid.

“Good afternoon. What could I help you with today?” the maid said.

“We were told by the Alpha we could have lunch here and we are looking for the kitchen and dining room.” Dad said.

“Oh no you don’t need to go to the kitchen, just follow me and I will take you to the dining room. Someone will serve you food in a bit.” The maid said. All three of us followed her down a long hallway. We made it to big double doors and she pushed them open. We see a lot of people here.

“Sit here please.” The maid said while pointing at three empty seats.

I looked around and I thought the whole pack was there. It looks like the pack eats together and not as my dad said. Then out of nowhere, josh comes up.

“Hey star. How do you like the new pack life?” Josh says.

My dad, mom, and I all bow.

“it's okay. We haven’t been here long so I can't really tell you.” I spoke

“Star, you don’t need to bow when you see dad, mom, and I are the future Luna. Come and sit with us. There are three seats at our table.” Josh told us.

“But we are not part of the family or pack. We can't do that. Sam and I will sit here if you take Summerstar. Plus, the nice young maid told us to sit here,” Mom says.

“I know you are trying to get used to the new life, but Scarlet is not a maid, she is an omega, that is kitchen staff and you three will not sit here and will move. My family wants us together.” Josh explains.

“Okay, we will go sit with you guys, thank you.” Dad says. We start walking with josh and I get some dirty looks from some of the girls in the pack. I just keep walking. We go and sit with the Alpha, Luna, and what I assume, their family. When we got to their table, we all bowed.

“Sam, Joan, and Summerstar, there is no reason for you to bow. You are family to us. Summerstar is going to be our future Luna and no need to call to see if you can come for food. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner here for the pack every day.” Alpha says.

“We are just normal humans. We should not be treated any differently from anyone else here.” Dad says.

“You are not. You are family. Summerstar is Josh’s mate and she will be the future Luna. You guys are as much of our family as she is. When the full moon comes you will no longer be human, you will be one of us and be part of the pack,” Alpha says.

“How do you know Summerstar is Josh’s mate?” mom asks.

“Josh has said so. After lunch, we six will have a meeting, so when you are done eating, please come to my office. We all need to talk and I don’t want to do it here,” Alpha said.

“Here is your lunch alpha, Luna, alpha, Luna, and the parent of the Luna .” One of the omega’s said.

“Thank you” we all said. I looked down and they gave us a lot of food. It all smelled wonderful. They gave us triple-layered hamburgers, French fries, and juice. We all eat quietly. When we were all done eating, we followed the Luna and alphas to the office. They just decided to wait for us to eat. We get into the office with 2 chairs in front of a desk, a big computer chair behind the desk and a big leather couch in the corner with a book shelf.

“We needed to talk because this is going to be a big change for everyone in the next few weeks.” Alpha said while he sat in his chair and the Luna sat on his lap and josh stood next to them.

“What is going to happen?” mom asks.

“You are going to get used to pack life. Living in the pack is going to be different from living in the human world. We will let you settle into the new house. Once things have settled down and you have gotten used to pack life, we will talk about jobs and you guys shifting.” alpha said.

“I have a note from Summerstar’s real mother. Here it is.” Mom said while handing the letter to the alpha.

“Dear Alpha of the blue moon pack. Please take care of my Summerstar. She will need special training. She is part werewolf and wizard. She will be a very powerful werewolf. Please allow Joan and Sam to be with her in the pack. If they wish, please turn them into werewolves. I want them with her. They are my great friends and they love her. I have heard you have a lot of hybrids. But she is different. Thank you so much!

“I didn’t think the almighty wizard and werewolf Hades and Luna Artmis had a child. They were great alpha and Luna. I know them from us having pack meetings. It was devastating to know they all got killed in a rogue attack. These people loved them. Before they died, they knew something was coming and sent their pack members to different packs. So, the only people to die were alpha Hades and Luna Artmis.” Alpha said.

“Yes, Artimis and Hades had a child and she is sitting right here Summerstar. Artmis had premonitions and could see the future. She knew something bad was going to happen so she sent her pack to find new packs and gave Summerstar to us with notes when she got older. She kept Summerstar a secret and told us to do the same thing.” Mom said.

“Why did she keep Summerstar a secret? Why didn’t her parents want her in a pack?” the alpha asked.

“They kept her a secret because she was a very special wolf and alphas would want her because of that. She didn’t want her in a pack until she came of age, so no one could target any pack that had her.” Mom explained.

“She doesn’t smell like a werewolf. Do you know why?” alpha asked.

“Her father Hades put a spell on her so no one knew until she was 16 years old. They didn’t want anyone to know who she was.” Mom said.

“Okay, I guess I get it. We will not say anything to anyone. You are her parents and that’s final,” Alpha said.

“Thank you for keeping this. It really means a lot to us,” Mom said and bowed her head.

“She is going to be the future Luna of this pack, so you guys will be eating all the meals with us in the pack dining hall. You guys are family. The pack house dining hall is for all members of the pack to eat, not just us and our family.” Apha said.

“She is Josh’s mate? She isn’t even of age yet to know. Are you sure? Thank you for letting us come to your pack.” dad said.

“Yes, she is my mate. I know because I can feel it, I’m 16.” Josh said.

“I know he is my mate. I can feel it as well, but mine is more of a pull. It's getting stronger now that I’m soon reaching the age.” I spoke

“You can stay with your family as long as you soon need to become the Luna of our pack. The first full moon of this month will be when Joan and Sam will be changed if they choose to be werewolves. I will give you time to think,” Alpha said.

“Joan and I have already talked about it before we moved and we want to be with Summerstar. We will want the change as soon as we can. We wanted to do it on her birthday as a gift to her.” Dad said.

“Are you sure about that? We can wait if need be,” Alpha said.

“Yes, we are sure. Her birthday is next Saturday. That will give us time to prepare. We want to be there for our little girl.” Dad said.

“Okay, we will get everything ready and you all will become part of the pack after that. We will have a ceremony for you guys to become part of the pack,” Alpha said.

“Thank you.” We all said and bowed and left the room.

We got back in the car and went back to our new home and started to unpack.
