Chapter 13

*** Summerstars P.O.V ***

I woke up in a very dark room. I looked around and I couldn't see much of anything. I saw there was a door. I walked over to the door and I opened it. On the other side of the door is a big bright hallway. I looked around and I saw no one. I start to head for the front door and when I open it, I feel like I'm in the middle of the sun. It is so hot and fire is coming out of the ground. I looked around and I still saw no one. I went back inside and sat on the couch in the house. The house is huge. There are so many rooms and doors going to places I don’t know. The front door opens and I see this really tall guy in long black and grey and he has short black hair and grey hair.

“Oh, I see my princess is finally awake.”

“Who are you? Why are you calling me princess?”

“ I'm hades your father goddess you look so much like your mother. Oh, how I miss her.”

“What do you mean you’re my father? I was told by my mom I could never see you until I die or.... oh, my goddess, I'm dead!”

“I'm sorry princess. You didn’t die, but you are on the brink of dying. You lost a lot of blood. The doctors are trying to keep you alive right now.”

“Oh, my goddess. Mom is going to kill me! She said so herself if I were to ever do it, she would bring me back to life and kill me when I came back.”

“Haha Artimis and her horrible jokes. Your mom loves you too much to do that. I didn’t want to see you either. Not because I don’t love you, I need you to stay alive.”

“Mom was joking? She seemed pretty serious when she said it.”

“She will be mad. Yes, but this wasn’t your fault. You haven't gotten your wolf yet to fight, but when you do you are going to be one strong werewolf being a demo god thanks to your mother. I was just a wizard until the other gods and goddess found out your mom was with me. We were mates. The mate bond is not something you can mess with. Yes, you can reject the other person, but for me and your mom, it was love at first sight. It was a forbidden love and your mom knew it.”

“ That's why you are king of the underworld? Was this a punishment?”

“Yes, and they are sending your mom back to the moon goddess realm. It was so we could never be together and you are a punishment as well. You are going to have the power to kill and to give life, but if you are to give life, someone close to you or someone you know has to die. It's sad that the gods and goddess can’t let everything be normal with you. Happy birthday kiddo.”

“Wait, I'm a punishment as well? I have the power to kill and to make people live?”

“Yes, but you need to be careful. It will be with your emotions as well. If you are angry, you could kill. You will have witch powers as well. You will need to train hard with your emotions and on your 16th, you won't just be turning into a werewolf, you are going to get your witch powers as well. You cannot save everyone. Just remember that.”

“Mom already knew what danger I was going to be in and what problems I was going to have and so did you. Why can't you come to me in my dream like mom?”

“Because I do not do anything in the real world, I'm stuck down here dealing with the dead and figuring out if they get to stay with me and I get to make their lives hell or if they go to haven. I'm not like your mom, where she can mess with people to get them to do what she wasn't. I'm stuck here in my own hell. This is my punishment for falling in love with a goddess. It's just about time you went back to your own world. It was nice seeing you. Hopefully, I will not see you for a long time. Just remember I love you. You will one day run the underworld and moon goddess realm. You will have to do both. That is another part of your punishment.”

“Wait, why do I have to go back? I want to talk with you more. You have given me more information them my mother.”

“ That's because I do not have a rule regarding where I cannot meddle with the real world. I can do what I want because I'm no god, I'm just the king. “

“That suck. I love you dad and hopefully I will never see you again until it is time for me to take over. I don’t want to die or almost die.”

“Then I shall send you back to your world. I love you kiddo and this may not be the last time you see me, but let's try. Your mom is going to know and is going to yell at you, good bye kiddo.” with that the house started to vanish and I was sitting in the dark.

“My child, why did you have to almost die? What did I tell you?” then in the middle of the darkness my mom started to come into view.

“I'm sorry I couldn’t fight back.”

“This should never have happened. I didn’t see this one coming. She must have just thought about it and saw you were alone. No worries, your wolf will be with you soon. Because it is your birthday and you are in a coma, she will be there when you wake up. I know I will be seeing more of you. Please don’t try and see your father again. You should be glad he can put you back in your body but he knew it wasn’t your time to be with him.”

“Wait, he can choose who stays and who goes back?”

“Yes, that is his power to be the underworld king. He just knows if you are meant to stay, go to a hevan, or go back to the human world.”

“Thank you. Why was dad saying I’m a punishment from you guys? Why did the gods say you and dad were a forbidden love? He said you guys were mates. Wouldn’t that mean someone wanted you guys together?”

“Your dad is right. We are a forbidden love. No one other than a god or goddess can love another god and goddess, but because I'm a werewolf, the old moon goddess Selene, my mother put us together. She was killed and I was then made the new moon goddess. She was not to put me with a warlock, she was to put me with a god or goddess. The gods punished her and punished our whole blood line.”

“Why did your mom put you with a warlock when she was supporting to put you with a god or goddess?”

“I don’t know my child, but you need to go back. You have been gone long enough and are making your mate and parents scared they think they will never see you again. I love you my child Summerstar. See you soon.” Mom disappeared. I can hear the heart monitor going off and I start to come back to the real world. I can feel 3 sets of hands on me, 2 holding my hands and one on my arm.

“Get Dr. Andrews I think she is waking up.” I tried to open my eyes but they were heavy. I try again and this time I open them to see my mom, dad and josh crying.

“MATE!” that’s all I hear.

“How long was I out?” I ask.

“4 days. You died for a while they had to resuscitate you.” mom says while crying harder and hugging me.

“Sweety you're going to kill her if you keep hugging her so hard.” dad said while sniffling. Mom lets go and sits back down.

“Good to see you are awake. How are you feeling?” dr.andrews asks.

“I feel sore and tired.”

“The only reason why you are alive is because of your wolf. She started to heal you once 1200am hit.”

“You mean I missed my birthday and first shift?” I asked

“No, you haven't shifted yet. You and your wolf have to do that. If you were just a human you would have died.” dr.andrews said.

“My name is Selene I’m your wolf. I have been going thru your memories since I came to you. That b***h will die! You need to tell them your half of the story because if you don’t, they will get out and wreak havoc on your life!”

“Why is your name Selene? Are you the old moon goddess or my grandmother?”

“If I'm reincarnated and I do not know of my past life. Mate is sexy I want to have my fun with him.”

“No no no why do you have to be a horny wolf as well?”

“that's because he’s my mate and I will only think of him that way. I only will want my mate.”

“Hello? Can you hear me?” mom says. as a hand waves in front of me.

“Sorry my wolf was talking to me.” I hear a low growl and hear

“No down boy she is in my hospital you will not do anything with her until she is released.” dr.andrews says.

“When can I get released”

“Tomorrow midafternoon. If nothing else happens.”

“I will tell my mom to get the ceremony ready in 2 days. So, people will know you are the future Luna and Joan and Sam are new pack members. My mom loves partys.” josh said.

“What do you mean a Luna ceremony? I'm not a Luna yet.”

“This is just a formal way to put that you are taken and will be the Luna when I turn 18 years old. I'm going to finish high school before I take over.”

“so, I have to wear a dress?”

“yes, we will go to the mall in the pack to get the dress or more of my mom and yours I'm not allowed to see it.”

“You need to take it easy.” dr.andrews says.

“Can I go to the mall?”

“yes, but most of the week I need you on bed rest. I know your all healed but you need to take it easy.”

“Can I shift?”

“yes, I want to be free and run!!!” Selene says.

“yes, but only for the ceremony and pack run. Then you are to go home and take it easy. After the week you will come back and I will do a checkup to see if you are good to go back to school. I will give you a note for the last month and just say you had a surgery because I know you didn’t go to school when you parents where here and right when they get out you got sent here by the alpha.”

“The alpha took me here?”

“yes, then informed everyone that you where here.”

*** Josh P.O.V ***

When I was told what happened I was wanting to kill them. They almost killed there Luna. I cannot believe them. When they go to interrogate them I will be going. I have been mostly at the hospital with summerstar and her parents. They haven't really been sleeping or eating so I have been sending an omega for food for all of us.

“Josh are you going to the interrogations of the 3 girls? We are leaving soon to do it.” dad mind linked me.

“yes, dad I will be right there.” I mind linked.

“Joan, and Sam I will be back in a while I'm going to with my dad and his beta to go interigate the 3 girls that did this. If anything changes with summer please have someone mind link me.”

“Will do please tell us what happens we need to know.” Sam says.

“I will and please watch and take care of her.” I leave the pack hospital and go to the front dungeons where I meet my dad and his beta Michael.

“We will try and be nice and see if they corporate with us if they don’t, we will give a guard whip them with a whip that has silver at the end.”

“Yes alpha” Michael and I say. We start going down the stairs to the dungeon and it smells of rotting flesh and blood. I never liked this place it is dungy and dim. It is very dark. In the first few cells there are some rouges that we caught and trying to get information from. The three girls are at the end with silver hand cuffs that are chained to the wall.

“What happened? Why did you three attack summerstar?” Jason said.

“She attacked us first. We were just defending ourselves.” Rebecca says.

“If you keep lying to us then we will whip you.” Michael says.

“No that’s the goddess honest truth.” melissa says.

“You are lying! One whip each maxwell”

“Yes alpha.” maxwell whipped each one time. With screams from each girl.

“We will try this again. Why did you attack summerstar?” alpha said.

“We didn’t like her trying to be friendly with the higher ranked wolfs because she is a lower-level omega and we didn’t want her trying to take what she shouldn’t have. She isn't from this pack she is a nobody” Brittney said.

“You think you can tell someone not to be close with people because you think she is a low-level omega? Maxwell! 50 whips each and another 3 days without food! In 3 days, I will be back. I will be talking with the elder to see what I can do with you guys. So be ready for anything. No medical attention!”

“Yes alpha” maxwell said. We started to go back up the stairs and before we closed the door you could hear them crying and screaming. We go to his office.

“Should we give at least Brittney another chance?” Michael asked.

“I will give them all another chance if they change their attitudes. If not, I will banish them and they will be rogues.” Jason said.

“Are you sure you want to give them another chance? I have a feeling they are going to go after summer again.” I said.

“We will see if they don’t change then I will have the elders give me premotion to kill them.”

“Yes alpha” I think this is a bad idea. I know Rebecca she will do what she can to get what she wants of she can't have it then no one can.

“I'm going back to the hospital so I can tell Joan and Sam.” I said.

“Make sure no one can hear you I know if you close the door then no one will.” Jason said.

“Yes dad. I just want them to know what's happening since it was their child that was almost killed.”

“Go ahead I just don’t want the information to get out since they are well loved and have people that will help them.” Jason said and with that I headed back to the hospital. When I got there, I told everyone to stay out and closed the door. I told Joan and Sam everything.

“I don’t know if that is a good idea, I don’t want my child to be in anymore danger then she will be in.” Joan said.

“I think you are right. But my dad is the alpha and he tries to give everyone a fair chance. But I don’t think it is right. But I know why he does it.”

“Why give people like them a fair chance? They tried to kill my daughter!” Sam says.

“it's the right thing to do he thinks but I have to go what he says he is the alpha I'm not alpha yet. Plus, I was with Rebecca until I met summerstar at school. When I found out she was my mate.”

“So, you messing around with girls' heart is what got her in this mess?” Joan asks.

“Kind of but I told her when we found our mates it was over and it was a high school fling but I never did anything with her just cuddled hugged and kissed.”

“Just leave I'm really mad right now and having a hard time keeping my wolf from attacking you.” Sam said.

“Yes, sir and I'm sorry I never met for summer to get hurt. I love her. That was never my intention.” I said and left.

The next day.

I had a hard time sleeping thinking about how summer was doing and being kicked out of the hospital but I know why and I didn’t want to try and get anyone mad.

“Josh you are needed in the hospital looks like summerstar is waking up.” dr.anders mind linked me. Thank the goddess she is going to be okay and waking up. I run over to the hospital and go in her room.

“Good morning, Joan and Sam. I know you told me to leave but dr.andrews told me to come back.”

“I'm sorry for the way I was acting and I know I was in the wrong and I shouldn’t have talked to the future alpha like that. Please forgive me.” Sam said.

“it's oaky I understand you are under a lot of pressure. “I said I know he disrespected me but this is his daughter.

“MATE!!! I want her! I need her!” Jacob said.

“We have to wait. I know you want her but she is just waking up. We can't do anything with her until she is out and fully recovered.” I said

“No, I need to mate and mark her so no one touches her.”

“I know this but that is going to have to wait.”

“Summer I'm going to go and talk with my mom about the Luna ceremony and pack run in 2 days.” with that I left for my mom's office. I knock on her door.

“Come in”

“summerstar is my mate. We need to get everything ready for the banquet, pack run and Luna ceremony.”

“What fun! I love party’s I will get everything going for that. What about her dress? Isn't she still in the hospital?”

“Yes, but dr.andrews said she should be released tomorrow midafternoon and the doctor said she could go to the mall but when done she has to come home and be on bed rest.”

“I'm so happy she is going to be my daughter in law! She is so pretty! She seems really nice to.”

“Okay while you get things going, I'm going back to the hospital to be with her since she is finally awake. I love you mom and do you think you can get this done in 2 days?” I ask.

“Kitchen staff isn't going to be happy or the dress tailor but we will make it work. I love you too.” I left to go back to the hospital to be with summer.
