Chapter 12

*** Summerstar P.O.V.***

I was so relieved when my mom woke up, then 30 minutes later my dad woke up as well. I still didn’t leave them until they got out of the hospital. I had josh by my side as well. When they got out it was another 2 days. I haven't gone to school because I was stressed out about my family. Today is Friday and my birthday is tomorrow and I got my wolf and have to change. I am kind of excited about this.

“Mom, dad, how do you feel?”

“We felt great and it's great to finally be home as well,” dad said.

“How does it feel to have a wolf?”

“ It's weird having another voice in your head other than yours, “Mom said.

“Yes, but it is nice. Now I can talk with him. He knows everything about me and I know everything about him. But he wants to do naughty stuff with your mom. So, we can finally finish the mating process,” dad said.

“Yes, Yasmin wants to do the same to him. And she is going crazy! “

“Gross eww please stop, I don’t want to hear or see anything. Please keep that to yourself!” Why do they have to talk like that in front of me acting like it's okay? I'm their daughter and it’s gross.

“Sorry it’s really hard when you have your wolf screaming in your head to do the stuff so they can be with their mates. You will see when you get yours tomorrow. Good thing Dr.Andrews told us everything about mates and marking,” mom said.

“ You guys go home to do that, I'm going to go to josh. I don’t want to hear or see it.” I said. I started to go back to the pack house to leave my mom and dad alone. I don’t want to be anywhere near them. I went into the recreation room. I see the beta, gamma, delta, and josh playing pool. I walked up to them.

“Good afternoon beta Daniel, gamma Mark, delta Erik and alpha josh. I said while I bowed.

“Good afternoon, Luna” the beta, gamma, and delta said while bowing.

“Good afternoon summer.” josh said.

“Can I watch?” I asked.

“Do you want to play?” Daniel asked.

“I don’t know how, but I will watch for now,” I said.

“Okay you can cheer me on,” josh said. As they started to get everything ready to go, three girls walked in and glared at me. They go to the back of the room to play some video games. I just ignore them and go back to watching josh play. They play a few more games.

“Can I try? I think I understand. How to play.”

“Yes, we are going to do 2 vs. 2, you and me on a team and Daniel and Mark on a team,” Josh said. We went first and we were colored and josh would help me with the que stick.

“ You're doing great. I don’t think you need my help anymore,” Josh said. Mark and Daniel beat us in the first game, then we beat them in the second.

“ You guys can play. I'm going to go home and change into a swim suit. I want to get into the pool.” I said.

“That sounds like a good idea. We will go change as well,” Josh said, and the other boys nodded their heads. We started heading out of the room and the 3 girls walked out with us, but the boys ran to their rooms to get their clothes and I was walking slower than them and the girls caught up to me.

“I don't know what you're thinking about trying to get with the alpha and being all nice and close with him, but I don’t like it. You need to back off. He is mine and always has been,” the tall girl with blonde hair said.

“Yes, and the beta is mine. Don’t you dare try and steal him from me.” the short Burnette said.

“The gamma is mine! You can't have all three find your own mate. They are ours.” the shorter one with red hair said.

“I don’t know what you're talking about, we are just friends. I can talk to whoever I want.” I said. f**k really? I don’t need this right now.

“You just moved here. You’re a stupid omega that thinks if she plays her cards right, she can get the higher-ranking members. She can just come in here and get what she wants. That’s not how it works here. Josh and I are mates, so f**k off.” The tall blonde said and with that she pushed me. I pushed her back and her two lackeys grabbed my arms and she shifted into this ugly s**t brown wolf and started to lung at me. She scratched my face with her claws.

“SOMEONE PL.....” as I'm screaming, her lackeys cover my mouth so I can't scream and the tall blonde keeps scratching me.

“ no one is going to help you. There is no one around. We are going to teach you a lesson about trying to get what is ours. You stupid mutt,” the short brunette said. I have tears coming down my face as I try and scream but they are still muffled. I started going in and out of the darkness.

*** Jason P.O.V ***

The alpha could hear yelling so he went to go and investigate what was happening. As I went into the hall, there was a lot of blood all over and a wolf slashing someone and they were limp.

“SHIFT” he says in his alpha tone and the taller blonde shifted with no clothes on. The beta and throws a blanket at her. I grab summerstar from the brunette and red head. The gamma and delta show up and grab the brunette and the red head and the beta grabs the blonde.

“Put them in the dungeon. I will deal with them later.”

“Yes alpha”

“What are you doing, alpha? Why are we getting punished?” Rebecca asks. As she is screaming, I'm walking away with Summerstar in my hands, heading to the pack hospital.

“ Dr. Andrews, I'm heading there right now. Please get a bed ready in the alpha ward.” I mind linked the doctor.

“Yes alpha.” Dr.Andrew's mind links.

“Josh, we have a problem. Please come to my office. I will be there shortly.” I mind linked josh.

“Yes, dad will be there soon,” Josh said.

“Beta Michael, please go inform Joan and Sam that Summerstar is being rushed to the pack hospital.” I mind like Michael.

“Yes alpha. After we get them to the dungeon, I will go to their house and tell them to go to the pack hospital for Summerstar.” Michael's mind links. I get to the pack hospital and I go to my wing and put Summerstar on the bed.

“What happen? I just saw her this morning after I released her parents?”

“I don’t know, I heard yelling and I saw a lot of blood on the ground around her. It was Rebecca and her 2 other friends,” I said.

“ Don't worry, she is in good hands and I will do my best for her.” with that I left and headed to my office to speak with, Josh. He is already there waiting for me in the chair in front of my desk.

“What was so urgent you need to see me?” Josh asked.

“ It's about Summerstar,” I said.

“What happened to Summerstar?” Josh asks, almost jumping out of his seat.

“Please calm down. I don’t know if she is okay but she has scratches all over her body and was bleeding a lot. Rebecca and her friends did it for her.”

“What did Rebecca and her b***h squad want with Summer?”

“I don’t know. I sent them down into the dungeon and I had a guard watching them. We were going to leave them down there for 3 days with no food and water. Then go down there and see if they will talk.”

“I knew I should never have done anything with her but once I found summer to be my mate, I cut things off with her. They were in the recreation room watching our every move. I knew I shouldn’t have run to go get changed when summer said she wanted to go swimming. I should have walked with her.”

“ It's not your fault, son, but I did tell you to just wait for your mate to do something.”

“I never had s*x with her. We were just boyfriend and girlfriend and we agreed when we found our mates, we would call it quits and go with them.”

“You should go and make sure summer is okay. She is in the pack hospital. I sent my beta to go and get her parents, since they are not part of the pack yet. I don’t know if Summerstar started it or if they did.”

“It wasn’t summer. I know that she never talked with them. She played pool with us and said she was going to go home and change and we all left to go get changed so we could go into the pool. I'm going to go check on her and I'm going to stay with her until she gets better.” Josh said as he left. I don’t think it was Summerstar that started it. She really has been trying to keep to herself. I will see what the girls say.
