Damon’s POV

I got out off the shower and went to bed. We got training early in the morning and as the future Lycan Alpha King I had to be present.

I tried to fall asleep, but nothing. I couldn’t stop thinking about my mate. Her beauty, her courage, her dominance, her kindness, her honesty, but most of all her righteousness. I loved everything about her, and longed for her next to me.

“This is so frustrating,” I said out loud. Then the scent it me. She was near. I jumped up and rushed to my doors and there she stood. I was in shock but also happy. She looked at me and I couldn’t hold back anymore. I grabbed her by the waist and lifted her up in the air. She wrapped her legs around me, gripping onto me as if she never want to let me go.
