It’s been about a week since that meeting with Rene and things between Chris, and I haven’t been the same. I had lunch with him three times this week, but I haven’t spent a night at his place. I’ve been trying to avoid him when I can, cause it’s been very difficult for me to look at him without wanting to confront him, and I can’t. Rene made me promise not to.
She’s scared he’ll be mad at her for telling me and might make life difficult for her. I don’t wanna put her in that position, plus this side of him she showed me makes me somewhat scared, too. What he did was wrong and cruel and I find myself questioning if this side of him that I think I know is even real.
