Four months later
“Oh, God, I’m done. I need a moment to catch my breath,” I breathlessly tell Ty leaning on my knees.
“You want to sit down?” he asks handing me his water.
“Thank you, yeah. I need a break.” We walk over to the nearest benches and I point to the one next to a tree, “Let’s sit on that one.”
I haven’t been out jogging in months and my body's feeling it. My emotional state has gotten much better and so I decided to pay attention to my physical state.
We are still moving to the bench when I see Ty turn his head to look at someone, I follow his eyes to be met with a familiar face. “Dr. Van Heerden?”
“No formalities please, Mrs. Muller, just call me Mitch,” he replies with a warm smile.
