“You can do it babe, just one last push my love, you’re almost there.” I’m holding Lia’s hand and the doctor can see the baby's head. “Ahhh… huh… Ahhh!!!” Lia gives one last push and the cries of our son can be heard. “You did well, my love,” I tell her placing a kiss on the top of the head. The Dr hands the baby over to her and he’s just perfect. Lia is an emotional wreck right now, looking at our baby with so much love and I find a few tears escape from my eyes as well. She hands him over to me after a moment and more tears escape my eyes as I lean into him placing a kiss on his forehead. I can’t believe I’m a dad, I’m the happiest man alive right now and I’m ready to protect him with my life.
