Arena ground

A loud, deafening cheer from the audience filled the whole arena ground. Alpha Thane and Jake could be seen on the arena ground with hundreds of giants watching them from above.

The wild bull arena is like a deep pit with an electrocuted wire to prevent fighters from escaping. It was built in a round shape like that of a football stadium, while the onlookers had to stay on the top floor so it could be convenient and wild enough for everyone to view.



"I am King Cassius of Mordor, and I welcome you all back to the wild bull arena," the king's voice boomed throughout the entire arena."As we all know the rule, they will have to fight until they kill the wild bull, or get killed." Another loud cheer filled the entire stadium again.



"Release the bull, and let there be bloodshed", someone utters from the crowds while the entire people roar out in approval.



"Oreion," the king called out. "Release all the bull."

"But that isn't a fair fight," Jake protested. "We are just two in number and you are releasing an entire bull for us to fight."



"Nothing is fair, human." King Cassius replied.

"What is the price if we win?" Alpha Thane asked.



"The price is walking out like a free man again," the king replied. "How sure are you that you will survive?"



"Does that concern you in any way?" Jake fired back.



"Of course, it doesn't concern me in any way," King Cassius replied calmly. "But, there are certain rules to be followed."



"Keep your rules to yourself," Jake spat angrily. 

He watched as the king burst into hysterical laughter. 

Jake looked over to the entrance and he could see Ariel and Jack's eyes staring at them plainly.

He could see the fear in their eyes; instead of them worrying about their own fight, they were busy pitying him.



"Trust me, I can take care of myself," he said to them. He felt a hand on his shoulder and he knew no one to tell him it was Alpha thane.



"We would scale through this," Alpha Thane elucidated in an assuring voice. "I have been through the worst. Still, I survived. "



"Same here, man," Jake utters. "Even when the odds are against us, we still manage to beat the odds."



A sudden loud thud disrupted their conversation. The duo watched in awe as an electric underground door opened automatically. "Does Mordor make use of modern technology?" Alpha Thane asked.



"Nope man, that is the hand work of magic,"Jake replied. "Not just any magic, but a dark one."



"How could that be possible?" Alpha Thane asked.



"In Mordor, everything is possible." Jake simply replied.



"Here is the show we have been waiting for," King Cassius' voice booms out again. "Let the killing begin"



"Yes, until death." The crowds roar out, but now in a much louder voice.

The underground door opened widely, and everything suddenly became as silent as a graveyard. For almost 3 or 5 minutes, there was nothing but silence.



"I guessee, their so-called bull is afraid to come out." Jake utters it mockingly.



"Yeah, maybe they are…" Alpha Thane was about to reply when a hard rock collided with him.

The force threw him back and he collided with the electric wire which in turn shook him vigorously before he laid down on the ground lifelessly.



The ground roared out loud again as a sign of approval."Kill, kill, kill." They started chanting loudly.

Jake quickly dodged on instinct as a large rock was hurled towards his direction. The ground beneath him began to shake furiously, as if there was a fight going underground.

Suddenly, the ground burst open with unimaginable force which created a round hole on the ground. followed by the loud roar of the wild bull.



Right in front of Jake stood the so-called bull. It wasn't a normal bull as they all thought, but the Erymanthian bull. In his hand is a human bone, which he wields as a weapon. He dashed towards Jake with unimaginable speed, but he quickly stepped aside and kicked the bull back with his leg. It was like kicking a hard rock, because the bull didn't even shake without feeling the pain. The bull turned back and grabbed Jake's leg, using it to spin around the whole stadium before flinging him away. Jake went flying across the whole arena before colliding with Alpha Thane, who was just getting up.



The duo crashed back to the ground and a cracking of bone was heard, while the crowds roared out again.



"If I am right, some of my bones have been broken." Jake utters an utterance in pain.



"Must you joke with everything?" Alpha then bellowed frustratingly.



"Every Hyperion is a joker," Jake replied casually. "It runs in every Hyperion's blood, so don't be surprised."



"Can't they stop shouting for once?" Alpha thane roars out with a menacing look.



"You should face them," Jake replied. "Don't scare me with that look, just keep your wrath for the threat." As soon as Jake finished his words, he suddenly felt a hand lifting him off the floor and he screamed out loud in fear.



"That is a cheat," he yelled in fear.



"Can't you allow us to recover before charging again?" Alpha thane chirps in.



The bull didn't even listen to their complaint, instead it started spinning again. "No room for weak beings!" the bull roared out in a thick voice. "The world isn't a place for weak and pathetic humans like you."



Jake became infuriated due to the bull's speech. He hated being called weak or pathetic. He looked over to Jack and Ariel's direction, and he could see them shaking their heads in pity.

Not for him, but because of Hyperion's wrath.



"Death is certain." Jack bellowed.

No sooner than he had said that, Jake's eyes changed to blue. His body became engulfed in fire, which left the bull no choice but to let him go. The crowds watched in awe as Jake levitated slowly from the ground to the air, and they could feel the whole arena ground getting hotter.



"And they just pissed him off." Ariel concluded.

Faster than the speed of light, Jake circled around the bull and created a tornado around it. Aside from the fact that s**t could be spelt, the bull became frozen and melted to the ground.

The whole place became silent again and everybody watched with awe and shock. They probably didn't expect what had happened.



"Anybody else?" Jake asked in a dangerous voice.

The king clapped twice, and Orieon moved closer to him. He whispers some words into his ear, while the latter nods head in agreement before moving away from the king.



"In a long period of time, longer than I could even remember; no one had managed to defeat one of the erymanthian bulls," the king bellowed in a high-pitched tone. "But you, Jake, or whatever you called yourself, managed to kill one."



"You asked for it," Jake elucidated without fear. 



"Now, fulfill your promise."



"Not so fast, kid," the King bellowed.

The electric door made another weird voice, while Ariel and Jack were pushed into the arena ground.

At their back stood Oreion, He was now dressed in golden armour, and a helmet was now on his head. He had a long chain, a sword and shield in his hand.



Beside him, stood another warrior. He was dressed in a simple war suit which seemed to be made from a minotaur fur. He had a big war hammer in his left hand and a scythe in his other hand. The electric door closed again and the underground gate opened, revealing another two Erymanthian bulls. They were far bigger and stronger than the former ones, with a huge horn on their heads.



"Defeat my general and his army, then your freedom is assured," the king declared with a smirk on his lips. "Even if the Tri-hybrid doesn't return from the treasure room, you will be granted your freedom and allowed to walk out again as a free human that you are."



"This is a cheat," Jack complained. "This is not the deal." But, the king ignores him and signals for the battle to begin. A trumpet was blown, which sounded across the whole arena for some seconds.



"Shall we begin?" The general requested in a deep grumpy voice.



"We are born ready, motherfucker," Jake replied.



"Can you do this?" Ariel asked Alpha Thane with concern.



"I was born ready and stronger than you ever imagined." Alpha Thane replied proudly. Without hesitation, cracking of bone was heard and they all watched in awe as his body reshaped. Alpha Thane transformed into a beautiful, huge wolf, bigger than any wolf the ancient warrior had ever seen. It had a silvery coat and deep red eyes. Not only that, the ground started turning into a thick rock, and they began to form an armour and shield around Alpha Thane's body.



"The last ancient demon wolf with the power to control all elements" everybody matters in shock and disbelief.
