Sierra's POV..
The next, morning, I arrived at the address Cassian gave. At first, I was debating whether I should go or not— but then realized 'Why would my hatred towards him stop me from doing the project?' So here I am, standing in front of the gate of his Family's property. Tuff place to be with.
Did I call him after deciding? No. Why should I? Oh, I should.
I took out my phone and dialed his number, and he answered quickly than I anticipated. “Oh hey, little wiseacre. What's up? Has it come to a resolution?” He spoke with a teasing tone that surely he knows irritates me, "Already outside." I simply responded. “Oh wow, in a jiffy. Didn't even give me a head to prepare.” He said between laughs.
"Shake a leg and get your ass here, idiot." I said, rolling my eyes.
“Alright, alright, little wiseacre, no need to throw some attitude early in the morning. Wait there for a while.” He said before hanging up.
I did what he said and remained unmoved from where I was standing. After almost 30 minutes, I leaned on the gate, bored as f*ck. I am becoming the most weary of this long tarrying.
Then he arrived shortly after that, riding a F*CKING HORSE???!! The hell is this guy thinking? Is he having some sort of 'Prince' syndrome? Seriously?
He got off into the horse, "Well, hello there, little wiseacre, Sorry for the long wait, because apparently you didn't inform me and came in such a surprising arrival." He stated as soon as he opened the gate.
"You look like a total fool." I rolled my eyes, which he just chuckled. "Well, aren't you entering?" He asked, which I replied with a scoff and stepped in.
"The main house is quite far away, may I have the pleasure of conveying you to our destination?" He asked. I threw him a side eye and a rising eyebrow. "Ride? With you? Nah." I answered with irritation and started walking ahead.
He just smirked and shrugged his shoulders, "Well, I ain't forcing you. Go ahead, do a stamp." He climbed on his horse and followed ahead, matching my pace.
After almost 1 hour of walking, I got exhausted— like really exhausted. Just how far is his house?!
"I warned you, didn't I?" He started with a playful smirk. "Oh, cut the cackle. I possess the necessary expertise." I said with ragged breaths, more like telling myself than him.
"Oh really? Because it seems like you're having difficulty breathing just now." He teased as he watched me catch up my breath. "What codswallop.." I murmured lowly before I processed moving forward. In a minute, my legs gave up as it lost its strength.
"Fine.. Fine, I'll accept your offer." I said to him.
He climbed down through his horse and picked me up on his shoulder like a bag of sacks. "Wait! I-I can climb on it on my own—" My words were cut off as he placed me into the horse and settled on my back, his arm wrapping around my waist which led me surprised. "In case you planned on jumping off in the middle of the ride." He started with a hidden smirk before the horse moved. How did he know about that though?
"Because you're instractable." He added. I looked at him with a widden eyes, did he just read my mind? "No, I just knew you would think about it." He chuckled.
"Witch." I murmured, clicking my tongue.
"I heard that, princess." He smirked, "Sounds like a medieval accusation in the middle of the modern world. Nostalgic to old people like my greatgrandma." He added playfully. "Well, duh." I rolled my eyes.
"Hold tight." He warned before fastening the pace of the horse.

A few minutes later...
"We've arrived." He announced before climbing off the horse and lifted me up, landing me on my feet at the ground. "Umm.. You don't have to do that.. But.. Thanks." I muttered before looking away.
"The pleasure is mine entirely, princess." He stated with a hidden small smile before leading me into his mansion.
As soon as we stepped inside, we were greeted by the maids and butler. "Welcome to my house, princess." He said softly. "Stop calling me that, will you?" I rolled my eyes before smiling slightly then hid it with my usual irritated look. "Well, I can't, princess." He chuckled, ignoring my words. "Ugh, how annoying." I rolled my eyes again before I followed him into the living room.
"Have you prepared what I asked for?" I asked as I settled on his couch. "Oh, yeah." He took the tools and materials from the drawer and placed it on the coffee table, "Here." He also gathered some snacks and placed them down besides the materials. "And here. In case you get hungry." He added with a shrug.
I stared at him for a while before a small smile touched my lips. "Thanks.. I guess.." I muttered softly before I cleared my throat and began making our project.
He watched me work for a while with a genuine smile before helping me out.
