Prologue
People said to enjoy your life while you're still alive, but.. That seems quite unreachable for someone like me. I was separated from my parents when I was young, I couldn't recall where, when, how, why, or anything about my past.
My foster dad, an old herbalist man raised me up and taught me many things about herbals and poisons. Though, that didn't last long when he got ill and passed away when I was 10.
After my father's death, I raised myself alone. All those years of living alone were difficult, sad and lonely. I entered many part-time jobs just to make a living while studying.
Looking for a job wasn't easy, especially with someone like me who was young, alone, with no background and connections.
On the current day, I was in my fourth year of high school. I ranked 1st at my school every Examination and became the President of the school campus, Administrating the Myst Club which was for solving problems and mysteries. I sought to focus on my academics and live a life. But who would have thought that a perfect student like me wasn't so perfect after all, in fact, very unfortunate in life.

Sierra Lvynne Beveriona— Rank 1
—“Congratulations, Sierra!”“You're really Smart, Seirra!”“Staying to the top, aren't you? Congrats!”
‘Oh Yeah, Hi, That was me! How touching.’*Sarcasm* ‘There were some people who do and don't appreciate what you do, and that's reality.'
— “Look at her.. She's so annoying.“ “Must have paid the teachers just to stay on top” “Or Blackmail, must be.”“What a b*tch.” “Teacher's pet.” “Or had sell her body to the teacher? A Wh*re? H*e.”
’Like them. They couldn't accept the fact that I put an effort to reach the top with my own intelligence and dedication. That's also a problem for our society. Negative thoughts because of insecurity and jealousy. But though, I don't give a f*ck about their insults. Like, they're not the one who's feeding me or anything else rather than a burden to this world. Bullsh*t. What a great life indeed this was. But then, it wouldn't be complete without the rival— My enemy at school.
——— The introduction...
—‘it wouldn't be complete without the rival’ Rewind.
Cassian Theodore Monroe— From a very noble and respected family, Sierra's Rival. He served as the 'Campus Crush' due to popularity, visual, and background. He's smart, And technically, He's in the same position as Sierra. He is an Athlete while She Was more on paperworks and medicine which no one had known yet.
Just so yet the two along together would be disastrous— full of smart remarks, competition, and chaos.

She stood at the leaderboard alongside the other students as the result came. Cassian walked in and scanned the names on the leaderboard, "You're probably at the top, Dude." One of his friends said. "I know, Cuz' there's no way anyone can beat me.." Cassian's words trailed off as he found his name on second rank. When he looked at the name of the first rank, his smile faltered.
"Oh.. Sierra.. Of course it's her." He uttered while she was already standing a few steps away from him.
When the person between them walked away, their eyes met "Oh, Cassian." She greeted with a smug smirk, "Looks like I've beaten you again." She added, pleased by his reaction. "Oh shut it." He replied, his voice taut in annoyance. She chuckled and shrugged her shoulders, "Welp, try harder next time." She stated before departing from the crowd.
He clenched his fist as he watched her walk away, her smug look irritates him so much. "One day I'll beat you, just you wait.." He muttered under his breath as he spun his heels and left.
