The excitement and the fervor for the winter ball was exhilarating. It was not to say that only the brides were looking forward to the dance, but the servant and anyone else it concerned were, too. And everyone concerned was simply everyone. All except for Layla and Miria, who, while using the ball as a cover, would unveil their grand scheme in order to achieve their biggest goal.
Kiko, Karena and Yelena were all excited and it was failed evident as Layla sat in a chair a few ways off from them in the drawing room. The other three woman were seated at the round table, excitedly talking about what they looked forward to. The main event of the ball would be Creed sharing a dance with each individual bride, and everyone would stand back and watch as he danced with them all night.
