If the castle appeared to have been large on the outside, it seemed to be grandiose on the inside. For the first time since she set foot inside the foyer, Lucy noticed how high the ceiling was. The foyer may as well have been the hall of giants, and now that she was standing in the center of it with the others, they felt like small insects inside of it.
The ceremony had been concluded and they had been welcomed into the castle by the king, all except for Kiko, of course, whose welcoming would be postponed to the next day. All that was left was to settle into their new home and wait for the day of the wedding which had yet to be set.
