Rosalie was woken up by the knock that came at dinner time. She still could not be bothered to push the covers away, did not want to face the world. She heard the voices of two servants conversing with each other outside her door. Both of them sounded worried. Rosalie did not care. Her heart had stopped beating rapidly, thankfully, but her mind was still shattered. She ignored the knocks that followed, remaining with her head against the pillow until she heard a familiar voice that made her heart skip a beat.
