His Luna

Kole's POV

"Dad do I really have to attend this mating gala in a few weeks?" I ask my father sitting across from his desk in his office. He just looks out the window before turning to look at me to give me the "Yes" look. I hated getting all dressed up for these things, I have been going to them since I turned 18 I'm now 23 but still I have not found my mate. I haven't given up hope but I also kinda think that the moon goddess didn't make one for me.

I leave my fathers office and head up the 3 flights of steps to my room, as I enter I see all the empty space I left for when I find my mate. Since I was a young boy I have always wanted to find true love and have never wanted anyone but my mate. My room is too depressing so I just go down stairs and watch some t.v. As I turn on my favorite show here comes my best friend and my beta Ryder he stops in the door and just looks around like he is looking for someone.

Then all of a sudden here comes my gamma and friend Ty with a water gun shooting us both. My mom is a big clean freak and I knew if she saw us with water guns in the house she would have killed us so I quickly got us out the house in the back yard. About 40 feet from the back door we had a huge in ground pool and as soon as I shut the door Ty picked me up.

"Here Alpha you need a cool off." He says as he throws me into the pool. "Ty you asshole now I have to replace yet another phone thanks to you. Dude that's the fourth one this month." I yell pissed that Ty threw me in the pool.

"Kole calm down we was just playing plus we don't want to piss off your mom." Ryder says pulling me out of the water.

"Ty since you threw me in the pool you can go tell my mom your Luna why I have to buy another one. Remember what she told you last time you ruined one of my phones." I look at him with a smile on my face knowing damn well my mom said she would have his ass.

"Man I can't do that your mom scares me please." Ty says hiding his butt from everyone. Ryder and I just look at him and start laughing so hard we can't breathe. He looks so scared it's hilarious.

After we are done with our little laughing fit I head upstairs to my room to change and just relax there for the rest of the day. It was getting close to 9pm when I turned the lights off in my room as I stared up and the ceiling my eyes slowly closed and I let the darkness consume me.
