Chapter 9 Memories of the two days they spent just inside the second tunnel were fuzzy at best, but Einith was certain they were the most comfortable two days he had spent since their journey began. Granted, it could have been more than two days, but his Heartstone slept and woke twice, he knew that. Their bed was cold each time Tae vacated it for longer than a few minutes. The prolonged trudge up the steep mine shaft was exactly what Einith expected and they took it slow, Tae brushing off the pace as a consideration for Lasra’s old self, but he knew better.
