The Irregular Zero

            It was a time of a peaceful rainy season in the world of Mythicia. A man clad in a slightly tore hooded cloak and soaked boots found himself lying on a muddy soil. He was then begun to walk in the middle of a dark forest seeking for shelter. However, he has nothing to give or pay for he was just a poor person who ended waking up in the middle of nowhere.             “Where am I?” the cloaked man thought. “I'm starving. I am starting to feel numb. I have to find a place to rest.”             As he wandered in the unfamiliar forest, he saw dozens of light glowing before his eyes –A small village, might be. Unfortunately, everything became blurred that gave him difficulties for walking a mile from his position. The hopeless-looking desperate man, trying his best to live, lit the candle of courage and hope in his heart.             “I am almost there!” the man thought. “I have to keep it up. I just have to walk for less than a thousand meters more.”             No matter how the man strived to walk and live, he still fell on his knees and went unconscious. Luckily, in the middle of the raging storm, he was saved by a passing-by mysterious beautiful lady clad in an adventurer’s clothes and was brought to her house nearby.               A small fireplace wrought in brick, beautiful furniture decorations, and a large floor mat beneath a table near the sleeping man brought him in peace. Awoken from a deep slumber, He slowly opened his eyes and realized that he was lying on a couch. He then sat on the couch and looked around the relaxing room.             He felt dizzy at the moment he got up. He whispered, “What am I doing in this place? Something is wrong.”             “Oh you are finally awake!” said the lady at glance. “You must have not eaten yet. I am going to prepare the food, please wait for a while.”             The lady happily went to the kitchen to prepare for food. She then went back with a portion of decent food for the exhausted man. She then cheerfully said, “I am Erica Smith. I am currently living all by myself and wanted to become one of the best scouts in the world! Please enjoy your meal.” Zero then took a bite and he was surprised by the taste. He thought that it might be one of the best foods he ever tasted in the world.             “I am Zero, thank you for the food, it was good,” answered the confused man. He then asked, “Where am I? I just recently woke up and still did not know how I ended up in the forest.”             “I am glad that you liked it,” said Erica. “You are outside the capitol. It seems that you have a bigger problem. You must have a rest first before you embark on your journey!”             “I have nothing left,” said Zero on a low voice. “I only remembered my first name given to me. However, I couldn’t remember my family, my friends, and even the place I called home.”             Erica suddenly felt worried. At this moment, she only thought of keeping him until he remember something. She then said, “Wait for me here, I am going to do something.”
