Desiree We take a ride in my helicopter to my runway. Yeah, can't ride all the way to Figi in just a helicopter. We took a small plane. He seems cool.amf collected, but not interested in conversation on the ride to Figi. I engage him a few times, and it goes a little something like this: "So...are you excited?" He smiles. "Yeah! It'll... it'll be beautiful." "It will." And that's it. When we finally get there, we head to the Villa I rented. I didn't think it would as smart to buy it since I probably wouldn't be staying here often. I take his hand as we stare at the Sandy Beach. "It's.... breathtaking," I whisper. "Yeah," I hear him say. "You are." I look up at him. "That was soooo corny-" "Yeah, I heard it when it said it-" I laugh. "It was cute though," he looks away. "Well let's go in!" • • • We unpack. I'm waiting for him to make a move. He quietly folds clothes instead. I walk toward him, putting my hand in his chest, taking the shirt from his hands. "You know we didn't come here for the beach, right?" "Well, why else would we be here," He stares past me. I bite my lip. "To have a f**k-fest, uninterrupted." He smiles, his gaze straying toward me. "I-" I kiss him. "I know." He chuckles nervously. "I don't think you do." I hum, unbuttoning his pants. "We can do it on the beach if you want to see it that bad-" "No." "I thought not, sand would be in some hard to reach places-" I snort. He stops my hands. "I mean no. To this." "To what?" I narrow my eyes. "To sex." To s*x? He's saying no to s*x? With me? "Um... that's...what?" He opens his mouth, closing it, starting over. "I don't think we should, little one. I think it's best, if we don't. Ever again, actually." I scoff. "What?" "It's just...We both know I feel more for you than you do for me. And s*x just complicates that, and feuls my obsession." My heart pounds. "And I thought, we were, y'know, gonna, leave each other alone. And s*x isn't the way to do that." I'm gonna punch him in the f*****g throat. "I never said we were gonna leave each other alone. You said that." He looked away. "If we keep going like this, back and forth, I'm just hurt you. And you're gonna hurt me. And I'm gonna hurt me. So, no, we shouldn't f**k, Desiree. I shouldn't even be here." "You think it's that f*****g easy to get rid of me, Vitale?" I press his wound, forcing him back into bed. He hisses, falling back in shock. I sit on his waist. "What the hell are you doing?" he demands. "You belong to me," I hear myself say. "And you're not going anywhere." Where did that come from? Where are these words coming from? Why can't I stop them? "Desiree, get up. We're going home." I chuckle, shaking my head. "Oh no we're not. See, I have your phone. And you come here, through my means of transportation, which means, you're not leaving until I tell you to." He glanced at the door. I smirk. "Even if you can get out, you can't get off this island. I told you," I put my hand on his face. "We're a couple now." He stares into my eyes, in disbelief. "You don't even know why you're doing this, do you?" Not really. But f**k if I can take it back now. "Maybe you're not the only one who's got a bit of an obsession, Vitale." He grits his teeth, flipping us over. "All this, for a f**k? You could've just told me you needed my d**k that much." I smile. "This is more than your d**k, Vitale. You belong to me. Do you hear me?" "You're a psycho," He states. I shrug. "Call it what you will-" "Psycho. That's what it is." I nod. "And what are you?" He says nothing. "How long will you keep me here? People will start looking for us, Desiree. You can't keep us here forever." I look over his face. He's so sweet, and caring. Kind. He can be. He's driven me a little crazy, I think. And he doesn't know it. I think we both want the same thing. But neither of us are willing to just...do it. "Not forever. Just until you agree, that you belong to me." I throw him off me, getting up. I open one of the draws, taking out some rope and duct tape. "I think we both know this could've been me, or you. It looks like you lost the draw this time." He smirks. "Yeah, looks like it. We're really too much alike. I had planned to keep you hostage here." "In this Villa?" I ask, unwrapping the rope. "No, it's a couple acres north of here. I own that one." "Really?" I start tying him up. He doesn't struggle. "Yeah. We would've had fun." I bet. Next time. "Well, we'll have fun here, too. Does that sound good?" He looks at me. "Like Heaven Little one. Excellent knot by the way." I smile, kissing his head. "Oh, I know it's a little uncomfortable, but you wouldn't have spared me either, would you?" He smiles. "Not one bit." I shrug in happiness. "I'm going to duct tape your mouth now. You know, hostage conditioning, it's gonna get a little rough." He chuckles. "You don't have to condition me, I already love you." I shurg. "I know. Let's think of this as couples therapy. How long do you think we have?" "Till I get out of these ropes, or until the rescue arrives?" "Either one," I shrug. "I'll give you both. About an hour on these ropes. And a few days on the rescue." I nod. "Well then, let the games begin, darling."
