I was consumed with emotions. The king and queen addressed us. The queen embraced us in her flames and the king said he was proud to call us his sons. I have always looked up to and admired King Marcus. That is one of the reasons I stood with him against my own father. Rex went to get Sasha so the king and queen could speak with her. Stephan, Xavier, Sam and I still stood by the flames with the king and queen.
"You are a good man, Victor. You are a good king to your people. Stop doubting yourself. Our daughter is lucky to have you as one of her mates. I know you will stand by her side and look after her. You are nothing like your father." King Marcus said, then turned to Stephan.
