"What the f**k! Your parents made the trolls?" Stephan said.
"Yes, and it was the trolls who were strong enough to kill my parents! The trolls turned against them. They refused to be controlled. Once my parents were gone, they were free, but they couldn't live with the humans and the shifters would never allow the trolls to join them. Not after they had killed so many of them under my parents' control. So they moved to the mountains and formed their own society. They killed anyone who came close to their mountains. Word eventually spread, and the humans learned to avoid that area. Some still venture to the mountains not wanting to believe the stories, but they never return."
