Rex (POV)
I held Ember in my arms, not wanting to let her go. When we got to the cottage, Sam held the door open. I stood in the living room with Ember still in my arms. Stephan and Victor were right behind me. They stood on each side of me and watched Ember sleep.
"Can you feel that?" Victor asked, not taking his eyes off Ember.
"Yes," Stephan answered.
"Do you think she is with her parents?" I asked, feeling the love radiating from Ember. Every part of my body that touched Ember was warm.
We were almost to the cottage when a sense of warmth flooded my body. Then a wave of pure bliss followed extreme happiness. A feeling of happiness I had never experienced before. It took a second to realize their emotions were coming from Ember.
"I think she might be," Victor said, smiling.
