We were all lying on the bed with yellow fire on our backs. The leaves helped, but not much. There was no denying the mate bond was strong. I wish Victor had been more careful.
Ember fell asleep about an hour ago. She is worried about Xavier. We all are. If something happens to him, we will all be affected.
She wanted to postpone her mating ceremony with Victor for later day. But Sasha was not having it. Seth agreed with her. He said we needed to show that we were still strong.
