"What's going on?" I asked, worried.
"We just got word that the troll king is on the move. That will give us a small window to rescue Xavier," Jameson said.
"Then what are we waiting for?" Ember asked.
"Sam is rounding up warriors as we speak." Jameson said, not making eye contact with Ember.
"What are you not telling me?" she asked. Noticing Jameson's behavior as well.
