Victor (POV)
I left Ember in the bath to relax and headed back out to the kitchen. Stephan and Rex had all kinds of things going on in there. I thought about asking if I could help, but we all knew I was useless in the kitchen.
"How's Ember?" Stephan asked as he chopped a tomato.
"As well as can be expected. I think coming here was a good idea. She seems to have relaxed a little."
"I think having everyone around her was causing her more stress." Stephan said as he grabbed another tomato to chop.
"Jameson just linked that they have some new information. I'm going to head back to the pack house and check in. See what they found out." Sam said.
"What kind of new information?" Rex asked, turning to Sam.
"He didn't say."
"Should we all go?" I asked.
"No, we should probably stay here.
