Stephan (POV)
My bear was going crazy. I had been around other she bears when they had gone into heat and my bear did so much as give them a glance. But this we diffrent. He was going wild wanting out. Malakye jumped in front of Ember to shield her from the male bears all around us. I looked around to see if any of them would be stupid enough to advance on my mate. Not one bear made a move. Malakye looked around at everyone with a look of shock. I was also shocked that not one bear moved to advance onto my mate as her sweet smell surrounded us.
"Okay, we have tortured the bears enough. Let's get Ember out of here." Rex said with a look of shock still on his face.
Rex took Embers' hand into his, and I let out a growl that shook the ground around us.
"Get your hands off my mate," I growl
