Ember (POV)
The troll king walked in and I gasped. He was huge. He made Stephan look small. I was surprised that he was not scary or creepy looking. He actually had a friendly face about him.
"What is that smell?" he asked, looking around.
"I have caught you some bats for your journey." The troll who trapped us said with a proud smile.
"Ahh, thank you Groddy." The troll king said, smiling at our captor.
"What is that smell?" the troll king asked again, sniffing the air. "I have smelt it before." He said as he walked around the room and sniffed the air.
"Oh no! I forgot the potion Sasha gave me to cover up my royal scent." I mind-linked to Victor.
