I hear them you know....there screams" - Hand on the wall "Cal" I always thought something would happen to me. I just never seen this coming Cal hid outside the arched room and waited. If he was seen by anyone he would probably be killed on the spot. But he was clever, he knew that if Creeds wanted him dead he would be now. This was his only chance, when Creeds was busy. He had to act quickly. Cal slipped out into the corridoor and ran silently down the floorboards. This place was too big for him to know his way around; Filled with doors, staircases, passageways and guards walking along them every second. It was like a maze of unknown routes. Escape was impossible, yet if anyone had a chance it was him, but not yet. He ran out of the passage way and came out onto to a huge lobby balcony. A window which was boarded up, shedded glints of sunlight into the hall. In front of him was another passage way. Down the stairs on the floor below he saw two guards standing with there backs to him. In their hands they grasped metal bats. He had to get passed them and into the other corridors! Cal thought only for a second. In his pocket he had four round marbles which he had nicked from Mr Creeds office table. He smiled to himself and threw a marble over the balcony fence. The marble clattered down on the floor and the guards ran towards the noise. He only had seconds but that was more than enough. By the time the guards had returned to their posts, Cal had slipped into the narrow corridor... Raine's P.O.VMr Creeds had stepped into the blood room. I could see his white suit gleaming against the red walls. My head is going to explode. Rev sat beside me and held my hand. I couldn't stop shaking, whatever the Whitecoats had given me was killing me, "Now, can you tell me why I find two young kids in a forrbidden room when they should be in the labs?" Mr Creeds raised an eyebrow. Rev didn't say anything. He pulled me into him and the warmth of his body against mine stopped the shivers, "You have no reason? At all? No fight left? I suppose you think your already dead." A wave of pain circled my body and I closed my eyes blocking it out. The sound of flies filled the air as we waited for Creeds to carry on playing his game, "Well, as I said things are changing around here. You're not going to be killed for your misbehaviour." He let that sink in before continuing, "But you will have to be punished. So the girl will be taken to Marco tonight." Rev jumped up, "No. Please, no don't take her to Scar. Please, she needs help, look." He pointed at me, "Please help her." Mr Creeds stared at me, studying me with cool blue eyes, "You're right the girl needs help, she has reacted badly to the experiments, but she will still need to be punished and you as well." He muttered. I was going to be taken to Scar? "Give me her punishment. Kill me, do what ever you want to but please don't punish her. I'll do anything!" I tried to say something and tell him to shut up but the words wouldn't come out. A new wave of dissyness flowed through me and I closed my eyes again. >>> "Anything? Well that's a pretty harsh promise to make boy. Why would you risk such a deal for this girl?" My Creed's smirked, Dickhead. "I would give you my life. Sir." I said instead. Scar would not touch her. Mr Creeds smiled and looked at his watch, "What's your name boy?" He stared at me, "Rev." I hated him. One day I'm going to kill you. My thoughts reminded me of the Man who had laid dead at my feet. I closed my eyes and pushed away the visions of his body in blood, "Well Rev. As it happens I am in need of something. So I will make a deal. Two weeks in the solitary confinement unit should be enough punishment and if you are not too crazy when you come out. Well, we can talk about that then. In return I will help your friend." I was silent. I didn't have a choice. He could have killed us here on the spot but something was holding him back. Why wouldn't he kill us? Unless he truly did need us? "Ok." I muttered. >>> The corridors were narrow and they stunk of urine but he carried on thumping softly down them. There were no windows here, just small bulbs which loomed harsh light into the bare tunnels. The walls were brown and damp to touch, and the floorboards seemed to creak with each step. A scream echoed from inside one of the rooms. He froze and waited to be caught by a guard, but no one came. He had to be quick! Soon he'd have to return back to the office, before Creeds returned himself. Cal was sure he had the right place now. The smell and scream had confirmed it. This is where they would be kept. The dark looming figure of a guard walked out of a room. He held his breath and ducked down onto the floor, "I don't want to hear any noise you rats." The guard hissed and laughed when he closed the door, locking it. Cal waited for the guard to turn around and see him but he walked the other way turning down the corner. He let out his breath and ran up to the door. The lock was cheap and half broken. Cal already knew they were in there but he had to see, to be sure. If he was to get everyone out of this hell hole, it would be everyone. No one could get left behind. He pulled out the paperclip which he had stolen from the files of Mr Creeds. This was it. The lock clicked and he opened the door. >> Mr Creeds went away to get the Whitecoats as we sat in the blood room. Raine opened her eyes and stared at me, "You can't, you shouldn't of..." She gasped in air, her body shaking, "Shhh." I pull her back into my arms and rocked her back and forth. I couldn't of not done it. "You're going to forget who you are in S.C." (solitary confinement) She whispered. I stared at her blue round eyes filled with pain, "You think I would have let them hurt you instead of me? Raine I would rather be dead." I muttered. She tried to sit up but her body gave way, "Rev you don't understand..." She breathed, "I don't need to understand, everything will be ok." I interrupted, "Your going to forget everything, even me. Kids aren't the same after they come out of it, I've seen them. They don't last the week afterwards." "I'll be stronger." I leaned down and kissed her forehead but her eyes were already closed, "I can't forget you." >>> Cal stepped into the stinking room. It was dark, darker than his room but he still saw IT sitting crouched up in the corner, "It's ok little guy, I'm not going to hurt you." He muttered and bent down staring into the 101's white eyes, "My name is Cal, bet you want to get out of here?" The 101 nodded slightly, "Well we can't get out today, but I'm working on a plan. Tell the others to be ready for it." He rolled a marble to the 101 who picked it up with stubby bruised fingers. "I have to go, but now I know where you are. I'm going to try and come back." The 101 nodded slightly. It was only as Cal slipped out the door that he saw the 101's feet. He had no toes...
