Family, I called this meeting to talk to you about certain suspicious activities, starting Mauro with a firm presence. . Have any of you noticed that three of our family members seem to disappear quite a bit lately? Ever since Nilo claimed Mala as his mate. Which I have to say I don't approve of in the least. I talked with Vaughn and he insists that Smash says Mala was his six years ago and then all of a sudden this human girl appears in his life. He took her death badly but says he never felt the bond break. He confided in me that it was like it never existed. Now he feels drawn to Mala but can't explain it. Mala came to Mom to let her know that she can't sense Nilo's wolf and neither can Lena. So does anyone have any ideas?" Alpha Ruby speaks first, "I have a feeling there is dark magic in the works. I have sensed this for the past 8 years when Micky brought Cindy home and I didn't sense her wolf. Later Dale brought Patty and yet again no wolf. Sorry sons and Mala but something are off. I understand that you all love these people, but they and your dad are all suspects. I have waited for Mala to come off age to confirm my suspicion that she is also a white wolf. There is an old proverb that says it will take the power of 2 powerful white wolves to overcome the black magic of this world once and for all. So starting tomorrow Mala will be training with me to develop her powers and find out what they are."
"Okay first of all I can't believe you all are implying that my lovely mate is into some sort of black magic. Let alone Dale's mate is also into this dark conspiracy," states Micky.
"Brother, we are only discussing facts and trying to access this situation. Like where are your lovely mates? Where is Dad? You don't hear Mom losing her cool even she senses something is off and this is her mate and our other leader," declares Mauro. "Well, sons at first I thought it was just the grief from the accident that occurred last year. We don't know why Vaughn's wife was heading to our pack. All we know for sure is that she barely missed your father and unfortunately that cost her her life. I feel awful missing all the strange things that have been occurring. It wasn't until Mala was claimed by Nilo that we started seeing how many things have happened through the years. When Mala came to me and expressed confusion about not being able to sense or even communicate with Nilo's wolf, continues Ruby. "Woah! hold on Nilo has been my friend for years. He showed up about the same time I met Patty, " exclaims Dale. "Okay so then what did Nilo smell like? What did Patty smell like? Have Patty and Cindy always been friends? Where are they originally from? These are the questions that we are all asking. The sudden realization that no one asked these questions sooner. We all have such blind faith in the mate bond that when our mate appears we're so grateful and consumed with a desire that we don't ask the questions that we should," asks Ruby rhetorically. Mauro recaps by answering the easy questions first, "Patty and Cindy all appeared about eight and seven years ago respectively. Which no one questioned because they were displaced during the war."
Mala asks, "so random people essentially appear out of nowhere and we never questioned it." " Mala honey you were such a little girl during the war, of course, you would not know of the chaos that comes with war," Ruby explains with such care. However, has anyone besides Mala and her wolf sensed any dark magic," she continues. "Well, now that you mention it Mary and Thomas sigh simultaneously, yesterday we did notice that Nilo didn't have his wolf-like smell, He smelled somewhat human," finishes Thomas. "So what we might have are some dark witches amongst us. What we don't know is where they came from and what their plan is if anything," concludes Mauro. "They are up to something as Nilo has faked having a wolf. You know come to mention it all of the missing people's wolves are all on the small side. We never thought about it because the girls are presumably omega girls. They are all pretty much just regular wolves, " interjects Ruby. "Okay, Thomas we need you to do some research and check for any unaccounted-for dark magic covens, directs Mauro. Also, we need to bring Vaughn in on this. Mala, we need you to distract Nilo while we meet Vaughn. Dale and Micky, we need you to keep Patty and Cindy occupied and away from the pack house while we speak with Vaughn" instructs Mauro. "Okay so we have our questions now what is our time frame," Asks Thomas. "I think they are needing Nilo to take Mala away from this pack. I think they have bided their time for at least 8 years just to separate Mala and Mom. So if Nilo Patty and Cindy are somehow related and dark witches, they would be powerful. They would not be stoppable if Mom and Mala were separated," says Mauro. " Well family we need to prepare for something big, observes Ruby.
"Tomorrow I will set up a meeting with Vaughn. Mala, you will occupy your supposed mate. Micky and Dale you two keep Cindy and Patty busy so they don't know anything about what we tell Vaughn." So Vaughn's Dad and Nilo's dad are werewolves and Nilo's mother quite possibly could be a coven mother," recaps Ruby. "What happened to Nilo's father, asked Mala. "We will get these questions answered quickly. So everything we've discussed stays between us. I am certain that These people think we are unaware of their existence so we will monitor their comings and goings,". reassures Mauro with conviction.
