Allan is at work, filming the woman with one breast, when the police come in to see him for the second time. They enter the studio quietly at the point when the woman with one breast is crying. She is sobbing into the camera and Allan doesn’t know whether to turn the machine off. Does she want this left to her son and husband or not? It’s not an appropriate time to ask her, so he just keeps filming. He can edit later. Allan gets all the angles of her face; he films her wringing hands in her lap. He films the pile of Kleenexes that is gradually growing beside her chair. He films close-ups of her eyes, swollen and red-rimmed.
